As the water hit my back
The sun hit her face
It had been a long night,
The dawn was quiet
We showered together
After our passionate morning
And she washed my hair
And I drank my beer
We were undistracted
I wanted to say I love you too
But I could not ruin the moment

ordinary life halts
when there’s a power outage
(especially in the country)

no shower no bath no TV no
Internet no fridge no stove no
oven no flushing no music
no reading (no lights) no dishes

no distractions - just silence
the in and out of breath

If God exists and he is great, fair and just, why does my nose always start to itch when I'm in the shower and my hands are full of shampoo?

After a good shower
Everything seems better
There's just something about
Being clean and hair that's weter

sweet shower ...

ooh sweet babe mine...
imagining you now...
seeing you ...
naked with nothing ...
**** body ready ...
for a warm feelings ...
under sweet warm water ...

wow lady ...
dancing there ...
under the water ...
while you wish me there..
to dance with you ..
while we both singing ..
and preparing ourselves..
to make a great love there ..
as my all says ..
through my all whispers ...

sweetheart...
lets make a real shower ..
together now ..
to dance as we wished ...
to feel each others more..
to melt while we dance ...
one into the other..
til we get more fired ..
as the feelings which we got ...
since our eyes met ...

sweetheart...
i'm ready now ...
are you ready as me ...

my skin
absorbs
the hot, muggy
air
my hands
furiously scrub
at the dirt
mixed in with my
honey hair.
***** water
runs down my arm,
trickling off to my leg
and then into the drain.
i breathe, evaporated
water
filling my lungs.
my hair is clean.
my legs are tired of standing
and hurt from
all the razor nicks.
i shut off the
stupid shower
and step out,
shivering from the cold.
dirt is still caked under
my fingernails,
and there are still
blood streaks
on my legs
from my cheap razor
and bad
shaving job.
i stare at
the foggy mirror,
and draw a
frowny face right
where my own
lips are.

At sunrise
I awake from
A violent comatose

I welcome the fiery rain
Soak my flesh from the faucet
Taking deep breathes in stride

With an arsonist anthem playing
Eyes closed and heart racing
The immolation takes flight

Bones made ash become warpaint
A far cry from help as I burn
An unstable dynamo ready to blow

A sunshiny shower
Won’t last half n hour.
