Silver water
flowing out from under
moon-less-ness

Beautiful daughter of the stars
dancing in eclipse, remembering
the season of the sun

And how her
calculating love survived
its long hibernation

Summer:
Imagine a girl...
She has Firey orange hair
Lovely golden eyes
Average in height
Skin the picture shade of caramel
Sharp lip, showing her perfect smile
Teeth so white they shine just like the sun.

You see her on the Beach
Laying on the sand
playing in the water
Or getting a tan

Loves to be active
and cheer with her friends
Since the beginning
She'd loved to dance

If Summer was a girl
I bet she's love sport
and the outdoors

I bet she was fun
also fairly smart

A bubbly personality
So outgoing
Never having a bad day

Never having a Dark time
Cause she only gets brighter

If Summer were a girl.....
Things were perfect in the spring
September secrets told to the silent soundtrack called surrender

Things started to change in the summer
December decisions dictated just how daring we were willing to be

Things were not the same in the autumn
April arguments answered the arduous questions that comes with abortion

Things were over by the winter
June justified our journey in juxtaposition love scenes

The seasons of our lascivious love
Show that we were never meant to be enough
The seasons of our lascivious love
Show that we were never meant to be enough

More puddle steps that everyday
Fall back again with water rain
More tiny drops of water blow
And concrete grasses wet the stone:
More morning hue that fills the trees
And vapid air that sets the breeze:
In spring, and yet with winters loud,
The shoddy days the world bestows:
Of quick sunshine in leaving days,
Sour grass set in mellow rays;
A cousin-friend to seasons like:
The April springs of Toronto life.
Waiting for no-one it surges on
No pause for thought,
Or batting an eyelid,
Never generous. Almost gone.

The evidence is left upon your face
Though the eyes deny,
Chances not taken,
Regrets mount. We cry.

It doesn't cease but endures
It's reach is long,
Steadfast through the seasons,
Ticking on. Ticking on...

and i fear when seasons
and anything in particular
changes
its rooted far from rational explanation
reason removed, because i know
change is good
and those things that come with it
i know, i know
twelve thousand fold
for how long have i been told
fearing of change
is folly
when life is change
odd and strange

The wonders of Springtime
Whisk me away.
The glisten of raindrops
So freshly they lay.
The chirping of birds,
Sweet songs do they sing.
With echoes of laughter
They joyfully ring.
A newness of life
As sprouts start to bloom.
A colorful sight!
Ridding Winter's dark gloom.
The magic of flowers
Stretching up toward the sky.
Green grass all around them,
The aromas sublime.
The buzzing of bees
Hum happy and free.
In fields of wildflowers,
What a sight to be seen!
The wonders of Springtime
Fill me with bliss!
Naught a happier sight
To be seen than this!
