eat your dinner
and do it fast
these cornbread muffins
will never last

the gravy's boiling
and the chickens done
we'll eat some pie
'fore the day is done

apple, blueberry
and brown sugar peach
prize winning fruit
within your reach

now sit up straight
let's say the grace
we always do
at mawmaws place

I'm the lifeguard.
I'm the lifeguard.
I'm in charge of this here pool.
I'm the lifeguard.
I'm the lifeguard.
If you don't fear me then you're a fool.

I'm the lifeguard.
I'm the lifeguard.
I'll manage as you clown around.
I'm the lifeguard.
I'm the lifeguard.
I am here so you won't drown.

I'm the lifeguard.
I'm the lifeguard.
Blow my whistle: You behave!
I'm the lifeguard.
I'm the lifeguard.
It's your *** I'm trained to save.

I'm the lifeguard.
I'm the lifeguard.
If I yell at you, don't be shocked.
I'm the lifeguard.
I'm the lifeguard.
Jesus Christ! Why won't you walk?
My first job...

Who's to know right from wrong
If the wrong is all your eyes can see
Your mind is stuck on that one song
Hateful song that sadly gives you glee

Who's to know the correct faction
Empty passion filled with no voice
The sweet nothing mansion of options
The deceitful proof of choice

Who's to say if you will exceed
Jammed in a pocket full of confetti
In the end, even after you bleed
Blasting with colour but no identity

Who's to say you're special
Special only if you do the obvious
So start pacing in dimensional
Basking in uncertainty will make you glorious.

fire-fire,
lair-lair
can't see
where this heat ends
or where it originally begins
following fashion
but giving up on trends
art is a concept
and there is nothing left of my personality to defend
strictly forbidden
the rules i tend to bend
you impress my heart
i am your friend

They say that teenagers are selfish, complicated and dumb. They make us look like kids, waiting to follow their orders without even blinking. They expect us to do everything they want. They expect us to follow their rules... to follow them.

But there's one thing they've yet to realize, we are the future and that means that, someday, they will have to follow our rules. And we are going to be great leaders, great wariors and great artists. We are going to clean up their mess, a are going to live worth lives, we are going to restore peace,  we are going to save Earth.

And in that day, when they woke up feeling the sunlight in their faces, with nothing but feelings of joy in their hearts, they'll see we never nedeed their rules, we can make our own rules, but better, but fairest, but stronger, cause we are unbreakable...

Here, I wrote a bridal guide,
A rule book for future brides,
No matter if you're fair, fat and wide,
Or not, here's some dependable asides,
First, keep degrees and jobs up to date,
With some mates you can't relate,
You never know when the rats will turn,
To being a doormat, is what to spurn,
Keep some getaway money set aside,
This is important in a bridal guide,
Always update your roadside assist,
Without that, car bingles can get you miffed,
Ditto home and car insurance too,
Note these well, I say  to brides like you,
Never take drugs if to Bali you roam,
Then you shall definitely not be coming home.
Herein, I wrote a bridal guide,
My  rule book for future brides.
Feedback welcome. Experience is a great teacher.

We work-to-rule, we're molls,
We are not unfeeling dolls,
Molls don't make extra cuppas for you,
We write our own rules to suit,
It's up to you to not be rude,
I say, "Pappa don't preach!" to you,
Molls write lots of rules,
They've got their own cooking school,
We cook when we want to,
The world is not run for you,
Yes, molls now have  work-to-rules.
FEEDBACK WELCOME

Come light my signal fire to ignite the brighter
Side of things,
Don't have much money to give balance to all
My broken things,
Sometimes I keep my head down from the
People with agendas,
But im pushing myself and I'm killing for
The chance to have a perfect dilemma,
I leave a note for my past to pick up and read
Only to get upset and pass the torch to my present,
I close chapters in my life to prevent any from going
Further with any discretion,
I have learned my lessons,
I will not be another human peasant,
But for now I need to count all my blessings,
I just want to be someone beautiful.

Explain the rules,
All you callous ghouls,
What are rules?
Power games for you,
One way traffic, you see,
Why are you exploiting me?
Why can't you get someone better?
Write me your rules in a letter!
So, you callous ghouls,
You explain your rules,
Maybe there are no rules,
You made it up to suit you,
You write down your rules!
Feedback welcome.

Be kinder than necessary until there is no reason left for you to be kind; do NOT let yourself become a doormat that people can wipe the **** off their shoes with.
Shower often to wash the weight of the day off your delicate skin.
Floss; it makes your mom proud of your dental exams.
Study only when you need it.
Learn to do your own laundry.
Go to your friend's performances and games when you can.
Keep your room clean.
Say please and thank you regularly.
Stare harshly between someone's brows to make them stop staring at you.
Smile at people in public, but only with a closed mouth.
Carry extra tampons and pads to give to people who may need it.
Plan your day before you go to sleep.
Offer help when you see someone struggling,
But don't offer help if you need help yourself
Things I have learned over the years
