Aim for the history book,
Not the magazine.
Be remembered for good,
Not for bad.
Do what you want,
And want what you do.
Make sure people will remember you.

You can change the world,
You just have to believe,
That you are the one,
Who can end poverty.
Be the change you want to see,
Do it all with grace.
Make the world a better place.

Ignore all the insults,
Trust the compliments.
Stay by your family,
Despite the arguments.
Friends will come and go
But family’s forever.
Don’t give up. Never.

The people you miss,
Will be known to you until
The day you die.
If they’re in your head,
They are never dead.
For you keep them alive.
New people will always arrive.

Aim for the history book,
Not the magazine.
For in the end you’ll see,
Success is your ambition,
Never dream of fame.
The answer lies in your heart,
Even if you don’t know how to start.
be who you want to be, not who everyone else wants you to be <3

okay, i’ll admit that
your face is on my laptop’s background.
which is odd, i can see that,
since we both know i wish that you would just ******* disappear.
and i know that it’s not a very effective tactic, in forgetting everything that’s ever happened, and i get that.
it’s just that i get nervous when you’re not around for too long
but i know that eventually i’ll forget that
and it’ll be like
none of this ever happened and
maybe nothing will ever feel quite as tragic
as when i was so ******* ecstatic
that you found somebody and that he’s actually attractive, and bearded, and fully tatted.
and i’ll be here in this disaster city
where you’ve rarely matterred,
because i finally found a place where everyone doesn’t know you, and i'll just disappear for a while,
and i’ll be here overcoming my fear of needles while i'm at it.

Everything you know and all that you have learnt in the past,
one thing will always be there to remember, never forget the past.

Lessons learnt in the past need to be recalled, revised and remembered
No one knows,
no one can tell,
no one can predict,
when the need of the hour arises,
when it becomes necessary to recall and remember a thing from past.

True, absolutely true
A thing from past better remain in the past, but that also means never forget the past.

Always remember all that is important from the past,
never erase and forget everything about the past.
No one knows when a thing from past will come to rescue in the present.

When you learn new things
When you try all the time to remember something in a different way
Always remember one thing, everything belongs to the present
So no need to worry about the future.

It’s important to keep learning
Important to keep in mind that over a period of time the present will become a thing of past,
the future will then become present and everything will change simultaneously.

So whatever you have learnt and all that you know,
Better keep in mind and always remember
Nothing lasts forever.

Neither the past, nor the present and also in the future things will remain different
So even with all the changes that have taken place in the present as well as in the future, always remember, never stop learning new lessons.

I thought I'd forgotten
But then I remembered
All the questions I meant to ask then.
Hm. My memory is funny. I'm always left wondering

I want our story to be written in a book.
I want us to have a chance to be remembered.
Because love like ours does not walk by the street
or ride the subway
on normal days.

You're gone.
Off, on your journey.
Into your spirit world.
Yes, it's alright to go to Heaven now.
I knew one day I would lose you,
So I memorized the cut on your right finger.
I see that cut, that scar, now, on your finger.
As you lay - suit creased, pancake make-up and dead flesh.
I once loved you with a heart that knew not how to love.
And you abused it.
You defiled it.
Stomped it.
Then your last words to me were "You were the love of my life."
Then you wilted, just like the flowers you planted.
That amber ring on your other finger that we bought together.
It's there.
On your dead finger.
On my dead heart.
Soon to be buried.
Remembered by me.
Forever.
But, only by me.
True Story
Liam C Calhoun Aug 2015
Her words fell
Like the limbs of a
Dandelion
Departed;
Once a breath per
Echoed meme
And come another dream
With every
Feather’s frolic.

The lips within this
Captured moment
Flutter and fall,
Dismal and drunk,
Like the butterfly prior winter;
An excuse,
And she deserved better.

So to, I’ve learned to meander
One
Simple
Breath,
Be it the gasp, “final,”
Parallel and the very same
She’d blow and blow and
Scatter seed with.

And I’d love her
Just as much,
If only years ago,
But now carry forth,
Lash atop knowing “flee,”
Merely inched
And adjusted winds.

It’s a “later”
Sort of tale atop tongue,
And idea coined “alive,”
Albeit moments before born,
So much closer to
“Never-end,”
Resonant, if only –

Her dandelion’s dream
And soon to be later patches
Green;
Come the grass,
Come the amnesia,
Come the cold,
Oh girl!
Come the day we both knew
I’d leave.
It was so cold that very day I'd left Tokyo, frigid the day I'd left you.
I remembered how I died inside
I couldn't make a single sound
Like a dying fish crave for life been sunfired
In my own tears my soul drowned

It just killed me to know I was no longer for you
Being not in touch and how like we used to
How my voice no more gave you the jitters
When it all once rained pieces of my heart glitters

My heart now concealed by my tears to free
Our thoughts shared I wanted to break free
And so as my life shadowed with sky so grey
I am no longer me what I was yesterday.

Another day she will not see.
As she left an unknown legacy,
she left a mark
upon the center of our heart.
She shall never be forgotten,
for that was all she ever wanted.
The reason she left so soon,
will never be known to me or to you.
But she will forever remain,
because she did not go in vain.
