Like the night that flows in arrows
And the raven that flies in skies
She comes to me in a chaise
Pulled by the great white wolf

Aimee, my love, you are
the door between pleasure and pain
You fold me in shawl of lies
And stab my heart with truth

You came here like a salamander from the fire
Your siblings are **** and Nyx,
Melt in my arms like dew on leaves
Whisper and say you'll never leave

But the archer killed the raven
And wolf barks outside, in forest,
You have to go, you kiss my neck,
Send me to sleep, although
You know I'll wake up crying

Your hair is unseen in night
The eyes are tears of fire
Your skin is made from brightest stars
And you're dressed with moonrays

Mister Raven enjoys his perch
His seat upon the headstone
Of a man recently deceased
A man who died alone
Lonely to say the least

Mister Raven isn't sad however
Because Mister Raven knows
That the man isn't lonely anymore
He has found happiness below

He was lost upon arrival
In the world below
It was foggy and it was dark
They met on the Bridge of Shadow
Over the River of Schilmark
Stick around for Part 2 if you like!

raven picking out
eye and brain of dead pigeon
what an eerie sight
Based on something I saw a few days ago. I thought I should write it down in 5-7-5

Man
His raven eyes would never see the light of day,
His heart as dark as the blacked out moon,
The weapons he mastered smelted down,
The children he fathered lost and found,
You wanted to see him locked up tight,
You couldn't have known he took his life,
Judge and Jury found him innocent,
Judge and Jury faced a fight,
Public policy said this wasn't right
Public policy told a story
Of the man that captured several views
Of several thousand million different few
That bothered to listen to the man
That changed the earth
For the better of our children.

Have ever you heard
   The crows sing sweetly?
A singing bird,
   They sing discreetly.

They caw to scoff
   And to berate you,—
To **** you off
   And agitate you.

A raven, so quiet,
Sat on a branch outside
For a chance to be.

The ice made her move,
Her heart beat fast
The other ravens had nothing to say.

The feather in her eyes
Dried out on the pages
In which she'd silently write.

But deep in her dreams,
She knew it would not be..
And gave up on her hope.
Again, wrote this when I was in 8th grade. No reason.

On the fifth tee
A raven spotted me

He walked right up
Near my ball
He was arrogantly
Standing tall

I tried to shoo him away
I had golf to play

And on the 7th hole
He was there again
To pester me
Much to my chagrin

Jesus is Lord
I pronounced to him

And with that proclamation
I poured that four foot put
Right in

A foul and hateful bird
Of ancient lore

Was this the bird
That Poe found rapping,
Rapping at his chamber door?

And on the eighth tee
There he was 20 yards
Up ahead
I could see

Perched upon a branch
Perhaps spying on me?

And near the clubhouse
As I rounded the bend
There he sat
Staring into the distance again
I don't think I have ever been more pleased with a poem.  I had a good laugh after I finished this one.   I hope you enjoy it.

Some nonsense if you can make any sense out of it let me know.  I know what it says anyway.
Rebel Heart May 2014
Once I met a man named Frank,
Then he renamed himself Poe,
He always enjoyed a good prank,
But that's what made me his foe.

For months I stood awaiting,
Months alone in my room,
Waiting, debating, and hating,
Till the fitting revenge began to bloom.

Then, once upon a midnight dreary,
I began to carry out my plan,
Fully knowing how Poe was weary,
But also knowing tis was the best day to get back on that treacherous man.

So I paint my parrot black,
And made sure it looked like a Raven,
Good thing my pet had a knack,
To turn my foes into a craven.

Telling my parrot (now a raven) "Nevermore",
I issue a simple command,
And leave it by Poe's door,
Thinking, "Oh, Poe's reaction shall be very grand!"
From the title, you could obviously tell what this poem is about. I wrote this some time ago for English Class. This teaches you to 1)Never play an extreme prank on someone that serious and 2)Get your facts right before you start talking to a Raven and thinking how you're gonna live a miserable life because it could be a prank. I know this is pretty stupid, but if you think about it, Poe never did tell us what happened to this man before "The Raven" so it's possible. ;)

In awe you gazed upon the blue ocean of sky,
And black spots like tears feel down.
Looking as they fell closer. impending needles
Upon the waiting flesh of unsuspecting
Mortals,
Vessels,
Victims
Unknowing of their own arrived fate,
As slender tears discarded from high
Above found flesh, and the quill did
Burrow as was consumed
A shadow remained of what had stained
On soft tissue,
Then the noise beckoned forth from those
Lacerated by feathers fallen like wailing
Tears from clear blue.
Squalls were heard as from impact, like black
Petals flowering from the seed,
Feathers,
Obsidian,
Shimmered
In the birth of darkness's creation
Talons where nails now clawing
Human remains away,
In insanities confusion of thoughts now
Between two worlds.
Clawed at those of human design,
Onyx greeted crimson and screams greeted suffering,
As all now tainted
On the flowering of slated feather
Birthed once again and the flock
Rejected,
Sight,
Humanities
Tainted plight, as all feather dressed in proper
Order did fly into the blue sky.

"Mummy,

"Yes dear, what is it,

As she pointed in to the vast blueness above their heads,

"I don't know baby,

"They look like black tears mummy,
*"Like tears from heaven,
