I keep trying to trying to write,
but the words keep running off into
the night.
While I collapse into docility.

It's as if me and creativity have
gone through a divorce.
I guess I must have thought
with a little too much force.

Maybe if I get a late night snack,
the word's will come running
back to take a bite.
while I burst into verbosity.
Just sitting here,
on a summers day.
With my imaginary girlfriend.
You may see empty space,
but to me it's a beautiful face.
With long glimmering
hair of every colour.

A mind of endless adventure;
she whispers ideas,
offers advice,
and  I listen.
She never needs
to speak twice.

Just sitting here,
on a summers day.
Listening to her;
“ you can write a poem about
me and it will say;”

Just sitting here,
on a summers day....

I love how you pronounce my name,
so out of accent or character.
You make it sound so special.
as though it may belong to Someone else completely,

But you spell it out of conjecture.

you are always there,
in the back of my mind.
creeping down my spine ,
with everything that reminds me of you.
I wonder if that's the same with you?

I love how quirky and weird you are.
I love your extravagant exaggerations,
I love how I can pick you out of a crowd.
Even when you are walking miles away
with your back to me.
wearing that stupid scarf I gave you.

just so it reminds me of you

The obsession is just half the queer.

I eat tacos
I watch a yellowed tree
A leaf falls to the bottom
Like a taco falls into my stomach
I was eating tacos at a taqueria this morning, sitting by a large window, from which I could see a tree with yellow leaves. I saw a leaf fall down just as I had taken a bite off my taco and some of it had gone down to my belly, so that's what inspired this, whatever you call it.

Of all the things I truly must be
a sad but perky Poet
defines me primarily.

I'm happy, I'm sad,
don't know which way is up.
I walk through darkness,
with a light-filled cup.

Diary of my dreams
golden harp, treasured soul
thank you for drying my tears
when I am loosing control
~
In our private cloud
devious secrets we share
with your lullaby, safer I feel
and all my shadows disappear
~
Dear sis, wild velvet heart
I cherish every second, every word...
Your hilarious wind and wise glow
inspire me to fly high wherever I go
~
In a quirky world we found each other
maybe it was meant to be...
You make me proud, you make it worth
moon and star forever we will be.

Sandwiches are like sentences
They make great metaphors.
i fell for the quirky guy
with messy hair
& an even messier heart.
