When the heart breaks
It crumbles
Into nostalgic dust
Scattered
By a timely gust
Onto glistening city streets
And its sodium-vapour lamps
In the haze around the moon
And the salty mist of the seas
In particular bottled fragrances
And certain sound frequencies
In the place where it began
And where it truly started off
Try as you may to move on
Some day,
you will inevitably cough
As your watery eyes adjust
In this little cloud of dust,
Forcing you to concede
All efforts shall remain futile
Till you continue to breathe

Save Water

Free Verse Poem

We drink and use water,

Without knowing what it does,

What benefits it gives,

Water is around but has decreased,

Without knowing that the world is drying,

Before the leaves get crooked up as life,

We need to save water, to save our life,

Water helps everything,

As we need to help it too,

We do not need water just to drink and use,

We need it, to help it, so it can help us too.

There is blood
Dripping from my lips
'Cause I bit my tongue too hard

I got a hit
And a miss
'Cause I got bad aim and I went too far

There is air
Leaving my lungs
'Cause I feel too much too fast

Now I can't laugh
For a month
'Cause I want my oxygen to last

There is blood dripping from my lips
And the drops fall like rain
Making patterns on the carpet

Let the blood fall from my lips
The air will come right after
And I don't care

Let it drip
We've all got to fall
And I think this is it.
You heard me. Rather you read me....nevermind.

places are people
people are souls
souls are infinity
we need to go on
keep growing

Like a purple gem
Found deep within the Earths dark layers
Smooth as sandstone beneath rivers running
Warm as blackened pavement beneath summers sun

So this drink is to me
Most teasing of every sense and self
Which is why this cup cannot be
Most tasteful or worth

She made for me
The Best Raspberry Mocha On Earth
Hers Was The Best Raspberry Mocha On Earth

We write prose in
the dead-cold Winter air,
where the old works we
cared for are frozen.

We buried their poets
in the dirt, along with
their bones, beneath
sleet headstones
of inscriptions meant
for the passerby.

Soon Spring’s rain shall
wash the prayers away, and
her warmth will deliver us
from poetry to life.

if a person does not want to be bothered or have no time for you, you need to leave alone and start own life.

Drowning
Even before the floodgates
Break
Pulled to the bottom
By an infinite weight
I'll never be able to lift it
All I can do
All any of us can do
Is wait

Because someday
These clouds will fade
The sky will clear
I'll feel the sun on my face
And it will be more
Than worth the wait

I'll hold my breath
Until the end of time
If it means that I
Will witness the stars
I'll fall apart
A thousands times
Just so I
Can someday be whole
And I will be
We will be
Just wait

Because someday
When the sun comes through
And the light breaks our bodies
We will rise
We will soar
Higher than birds
Seeing it all
For the first time
We'll finally fly

All it takes
Is the will to survive
And we will
Just wait
Yeah, this *****. God, it *****. It hurts so much and all we can do is wait and wait and wait. But we'll do it. We are going to survive and thrive and get out of this town and learn what it means to truly live life.

I'm over him
But how can I be
When my hearts still skips a beat
Every time I pick up my phone

But my mind's moved on
And so has my soul
I'm done writing letters
On the margins of every
Biology paper
In blotted ink
Overlapping
Until they don't mean anything

For now, it is forwards
Until I find someone
To truly give me
A reason to pause
I'm not done. The wishing, the hoping, the pining. But I'm done waiting. Onwards.
