I am Death
I haunt dreams
I create the last breath
I can make people scream
I am Death
I have power beyond belief
I control every mortal
I cause so much grief
I am Death
I can choke with a snap
I can drown with nod
I can cause a stroke with a clap
I am just like a God!
I am
Death
Another rhyming poem.

Lament to those hidden sounds withering us all
I urge and have begged and to falter has been my only open rise stair
O and far

Throne of thought silence de-still hear, the ink on pen the silence of wept as a dear one leaves for the door... The intention of known has forever been fatal, bruise to mind & soul

Food o'body, tis whimper dark end screech of heart laments horizon
My for ever greater mortal sin and I am still anew and far

I'm trying to humanize you
Rip you off
That stupid little pedestal
That I put you on
Make myself realize
How ****** up you can be
How mortal you really are
How ridiculous I am
For thinking
Your anything more than
Human.

I'm trying to deconstruct you
Tear to pieces
Your squalid crown
That I placed on your head
Understand
That your heart
Can be cracked too
That I'm not the only one
That gets hurt

I'm trying to objectify you
Stop building you up
In my mind
To where you're a queen
A goddess
On a throne above me
Ruling me
My thoughts
My actions
Attempting to perceive
The reality
That you don't own me
My mind
Or my body

I'm trying to humanize you
Fight against
Your stereotypical perfection
And acknowledge
Your flaws
Your weaknesses
Your mistakes
Your problems
Your defects
Your cracks
Your brokenness
Your ****
To finally appreciate
That you're nothing more than
Human.
Loving her is killing me. I have to stop putting her on a pedestal and realize that she's just as human as me.

Hope it's soon.

This heart of stone hides
a dream of a god whose voice
once was lost against

the terrific wind.
It became mutilated
then swallowed by the

cacophony of
silence. So, answerless he
slumbers now, yet still

ajar for long to
speak with a mortal one who
would dare to call thy true name.

I imagined the possibility to be able to live forever, but then if you have lived for so long, one would probably want to die, so maybe it's better to be able to die than to live forever.

Expect not yourself
To see the world
For the way it truly is
At least at first

Because the world is full of so many things
And people who are ever changing

And the truth behind it all is this

*That one day all of these and we
Will be returned to the earth
Returned to the dirt
Or ashes depending upon the preference
Shadows and dust Maximus....

In animal death, a breath of relief
Tunnelling through the airways for one last
Sigh of non-defeat, of exaltation and release
Not to be, or better, to be free of mortality
Made immortal with passing life
Taking strife by the neck and repeating

I am no longer your victim

In animal death, a universal strength
Where no obstacles lay before happiness
And instincts are not policed
Your fanciful dreams of green treats, fulfilled
And failing kidneys can rot as they please
Please, shed only a handful of tears
On the graves of decomposing beasts
Released from the shackle of domestication,
For the ones that suffer are surely the living.

Mere mortals, that's what we all are,
No one is perfect, except for God afar,
"Tempus fugit" for every mortal,
Floating through time's open portals,
Humanity does not live forever,
We'll all be fossils, from the 12th of never,
Mere mortals, that's what we all are,
No one is perfect, except God afar........
