In ancient meadows
of green velvet,
the gentle wind
whispers a melody
of lost love...

"On top of Old Pines,
all covered in
moonlit snow,
I lost my true lover,
For i was a bride no more"

-Sweetly singed the
maiden, voice of
nightingale echoes
down where the
blue river swiftly flows

Oh maiden of white,
Don in veil and dress, black as night,
Your voice projects dark tones,
To calm the cries of bright halos.

Oh maiden of white,
You dance under the moonlight,
Your shadow hides the truth,
To expose the lies of the world's boons.

Oh knight of light,
Clad in gear and mail, your face out of sight,
Your bravery showers the evil,
To show your smiles of good will.

Oh knight of light,
You cut through your foes with might,
Giving out an outstretched hand,
To turn every person into your friend.

Oh maiden and knight of white light,
Together you hold hands and fight,
To show the world, light in darkness,
While loving one another relentless.
A poem dedicated to two of my great friends.

She gasps,
No, a moan
Her hands unconsciously roams,
Ravishing her supple young body.

In the shadows of the room,
Stood her very phantom-
A stark naked god
Whose ****** the nymphs would worship
And watching keenly with silver rimmed eyes, he did.

Offering her ****** images concocted by his immortal mind.
With a gasp, she wakes after a breathtaking ******.
In the dark, only his eyes she could see.
Susceptible and drawn to him, she felt.

But out of his back, wings sprout.
Its heavy beats fluttering the white curtains.
And into the night sky he soared,
Never to return again,
To his human lover
Whose dreams he had only existed

He was anonymous.
A Greek god in love with a mortal maiden whom he could only make love to in her dreams.

A lovely maiden,
so elegant and creative,
But with this pure dark soul,
no one will notice.

You know how to act,
Even with this soul of hate,
No one can change this,
They won't be able to compensate.

Alluring maiden
Skirts of green foam flash and twirl
Her song draws me in
Arms of sweet salt embrace me
Silken promises whispered

You’re the summer breeze in the city of skyscraper love,
Where teardrops have always needed pearls to shine,
And You,
To bring back their smile.

You’re the lipstick stain on your city’s memories,
A teasing reminder not of what’s gone and past,
But of what’s yet to bloom.

You’re the last sip of expensive wine on christmas eve,
Filled to the brim of newfound happiness,
So that it lingers in your senses,
Till the sun rises in protest.

You’re all this and so much more,
A maiden of march on summer’s shore.
Yet I heard the season’s gossip yesterday,
Whilst I bet on how you will conquer,
Your dreams today

The knights of old around the table sat
One got fat
One got high
And the other had only one eye

They went to rescue the fair maiden
They thought she needed save'n
But when they got there
They were unaware
She'd married that **** dragon
It was something hard for them to fathom

The fat one right down he sat
Not looking, and in dragon **** went splat
The high one pulled out his pipe
He didn't see why all the hype
The one with one eye started to cry
He was such a sensitive guy

The maiden ask why all the fuss
But they looked at her in disgust
Then in unison they shouted out from their armor of rust

We weren't invited to the wedding!!!!

Take a kiss upon thy brow!
In parting, I shall bow,
On this royal wedding vow -
I am not wrong, to deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet my spirits writhe to play,
Within the night, upon a fateful day,
Within a void, in Eternity sewn,
Is it; henceforth, less alone?
All I may see or seem,
Is only a melancholy of a Maiden's dream.

I stand behind a crystal door,
Of a crimson-coated shore,
With a ring upon my hand
With diadems at my command -
Faith in the river’s creek,
Drives the maiden to Sleep,
While she may weep - While she may Weep!
Alas! May I ever grasp
The kingdom’s only clasp?
Alas! May I ever crave
Another sagacious wave?
Is all that I may see or seem,
But a melancholy of a Maiden's dream?
Based on "A Dream Within a Dream" by Edgar Allan Poe.

In the darkest of our valleys
    By dark angels demented,
‘Twas once a regal temple -
    Serene spring - tauntingly tormented.
A Queen in her Domain,
    It stood there!
Under Lock and Chain;
    A maiden so fair!

Lavender curtains laden;
    On this Temple may flow
Along the Times of this Maiden -
    In the ****** snow.
And every gentle air in that field,
    Of Doomsday,
From the Black Rose’s shield -
    Their aroma passed away.

Witnessing this Ominous blolly;
    Through luminous windows -
Spirits sing in melancholy,
    In the malicious meadows.
Upon this throne I bore;
    A tintinnabulation of air -
Befitting glory’s chore,
    Of this realm’s affair.

With many a jewel gleaming,
    Against the Temple door -
The River’s light came beaming,
    Sparkling for evermore.
A troop of Angels; on their duty,
    At my doorbell, sing -
For the Silent beauty,
    Who burdens the King.

Then, the Reaper came,
    Along the Temple’s River -
For the distressed dame;
And the sorrows within her quiver.
Above this temple of glory,
    Sagacious scenes bloomed -
Of the maiden’s story,
    The clergy that loomed.

Now; Within that valley -
    Through the reddened windows see,
Figures dancing delicately;
    To her disbanded melody.
The river - now a pale white,
    Is her decor,
Night’s sweetest silent fright -
    And flows - Nevermore.
This is based on "The Haunted Palace" by Edgar Allan Poe, although Poe told the story of a king who eventually met his demise, his castle eventually becoming haunted by the phantoms of his family.

Instead, I told the story of a woman who locked herself away from society - and speaks of how the outside world seems to her.

She always seemed so synchronized,
To the thoughts that crossed his brain.

Picking up her feet to dance,
To distract him from the pain.

She kissed his worried temples,
Wiped his tears away like rain.

All the while still syncing with the
Thoughts inside his brain.

He wondered why she danced there,
And focused on his thought's.

"Maiden don't you think that there
is something you've forgot?

You spend worry on my brain waves,
you dance around and sing.
But don't you forget fair maiden,
that your thoughts can also ring."

She stood a while and faced him,
and focused on her thoughts.

"No my dear it's clear that you
are something I am not.

Your thoughts they never linger,
they come and then they go

And unlike me the bad ones
never stay and never grow

So yes, I'll dance about you,
and I'll kiss your temples pink.

And dance about you daily,
just to hear the thought's you think."
