They say,
The Heart is like a door,
It can be open or shut,
You can walk in or walk out,
You can be locked in or locked out,
But hear me out;
Don't believe all that they say.

They say
When one door closes another one opens,
I don't take no stock in that
When one heart closes--
It can close forever.

I held a key once,
It was beautifully golden,
With diamonds encased in its body,
The mere sight caused thoughts I’d stole it.

I spent an eternity searching,
For the one lock it fits,
But after countless attempts,
--I began to question it.

Will I ever find my match?
Does one truly exist?
Have I been blindly mistaken?
And my mate is opposite of what I think it is?
The one you are supposed to be with is not always the one you think.

Key to your soul
hidden from all
heart is the lock
open the door

You were made perfect
(with all imperfections)
beauty is light
covered with skin

Shine, beauty, shine!
Don't hide,
destroy the walls inside
give out the key to your heart.

She was always
Simply
           A
              Lock
Away; all they needed was the
Key.
Those who found it
Lost it soon enough too.
But those who fashioned it,
themselves
Without deterring from the task
Without trying to replicate a lost key
With nothing but a
egami euqinu
In their minds
Of what the lock looked like
And what the key should look like
Only those few,
Few, very few
Wizards
who toiled to work their magic
Succeeded.
And they never lost their key
They necklaced it around their heart
A symbol that was now etched into
their existence
Entangled in the life of the veins
That this heart so solely depended on
Becoming one with them

Those were the lucky ones

The others, the ones she wished mattered
Were still only searching
Searching
Meandering
Probing
Ferreting
Still only looking for
A key that had once been used
And whose lock was now
Rust rusting rusted
With time.

Still searching
But never creating, of course
Always only searching
Until they found it

        And then lost it again.

Lock and key
I have such rotten luck
I try the wrong key
And the lock gets jammed

Lock and key
Was the first ever
Sarah Dessen
Book that I read

Lock and key
One acts as a protector
The other one
Plays the part of saviour

Lock and key
I'm not quite sure
Which is you
And which is me
I-I don't know.
About a thing, for a person, blah blah blah, I hate breathing, the end.

One day ..

I will come and ask for your hand

A day that cannot wait ...

We lock the door with a key
And go inside ...

Oh my ... what I will see ..

...Oh my ... what I will hear ...

... Your sweet voice ...
That harps the heart ...

Your glamorous beauty ...
Thats full of warmth
And tenderness ...

Ye prettier than the beauty ...

... My eyeful darling ...

Lock yourself up.
Lock yourself up tight.
And don’t give yourself a fright.

Hold your heart in your hands,
Hold it tight and rap it in bows, and bands.

Stay secret lock yourself away,
Away from the world you’ll stay, from all its painful rays.

It’s not that I’m anti-social; I’m just preventing myself from getting hurt, by the things outside that hurt the most.

What happens when i'm trapped in my own state of mind
All these things i must decide comes down to do or die
Nothing will matter soon as time flies the situation multiplies
Now the light of hope has ceased to exist
Sitting around wondering why is now where I reside
Life is a prison we are locked inside
Death has the key to set us all free
Happiness lets us forget who we are
Allows us to sit by and gaze the stars
Pain reminds us that we are mortal
Emotions keep us from being normal
Struggle is the force we shall endure
To learn reality, and keep us in order
Thoughts are what keep us alive, even the bad ones too.

Heart on lock and key
Often try to unlock it
Body won't let me
One's determined mind cannot turn the key to unlock their heart if the body prevents them in order to avoid pain
matt Nov 2014
I never felt so free to just be me I can’t see how you unlock me like a key. You see the inner me because while I am a locksmith you unlocked me.
