Rollin through lights
Wasting time
I wonder where we'll go
Yeah we're flyin
flyin by

what does love feel like?
i heard it feels like butterflies in my stomach
fluttering about inside
i heard it feels like fireworks
sparking,
an explosion of colours i'd never even think of seeing

what does love feel like?
they say it feels like fire
warm and slow
and sometimes it grows so big it can burn whole buildings
they say it feels like floating on a cloud
it's soft and smooth
and so high up, that they can only see the flickering lights of cities down below

what does love feel like?
i heard it feels like skin against skin
and lips against soft lips
i heard it feels like a magnet,
pulling you closer and closer to someone
until you're completely inseperable

what does love feel like?

i've never been in love before.

As the lights went dim
I found myself adrift
into an altered reality

And that's about
the furthest I can get,
away from this harsh
substantiality
How I feel when the stores are closing for the day

home is where it wasn’t home.

home. it felt more like a place but felt like home when leaving.

home is my brother and his blue eyes.

home is can you make me breakfast and watch TV with me?

home is the hot soup grandma makes.

home is Janis Joplin singing.

home is where birds are chirping dancing.

home is that door never closing.

home. is that door open anymore?

home is Venus… and my cosmos.

home is red and red was home.

home is where it wasn’t home.

home is where i wish was home.

home? where is home anymore?

Midnight, stars
Empty roads; headlights

The universe watching you.
Breathing in her hair.
Stars and dark roads

You look at her and wonder.
This world might be too beautiful for me
to imagine.

Slowly everything is getting darker.
You barely see the teardrops falling on ground.
You don't see the lights any more.
It's all gone.
I really should get some sleep

The lights smiled as the road stretched for millennia
I refuse to entertain them, to persist forever.
However it tells me different, that I must go
To where I am needed most, I follow
The crumbling walls, betraying its host
It has been long since I journeyed this way.
Footprints, of some kind, lined the path;
Whatever it was that made the mark
Might it have searched for meaning deeply?
But in the end it began to fade, and I heard
The tall nettles, scratching the mighty concrete;
Blue-crested Swallows too joined in on the harmony
So Discordant and so Soothing, for a fleeting moment, but
There was no respite given as the moon watched me stumble;
Her eyes pits of nihil, devoid of hope, yet mesmerizing.
There is no telling when I can return to my happiness;
Why Must I be so lonely, in this plane of mild?
The isolation appears stronger, I am afraid
That I may grow insane with the wild.
feedback would be appreciated

Of blood and beauty
The northern lights shine
Winding in it’s colors
Dancing with itself
To eternal love psalms -

Without a concern for chivalry
To the world, or unto me,
Let the lights paint my heart
With dashes of validity
Till’ my petals falter,
Away from my black rose,
Away from the world,
Away from their ignorance and doubt

Festivities are benign;
Empty and hollow
Bury them til’ my doomsday
A time far from now
Beneath colored skylights
That only love may allow.
