Beautiful,gorgeous and
glittery lights
Filled her heart
with seraphic delights
A series of lights
in the dark shades of night
flying high and low
flashing their
glare in a row
illuminating her soul
from inside
As she became captivated
by their sight
All she could do
was smile in delight
Looking at those  natural lights
"the fireflies"
The fireflies always had been a beautiful delight for me ...
whenever I see them I recieve happiness and they always cheer me up.

A steed agreed to carry me
across the land of foreign hands
so that I could wed beneath the stars
to a maiden who had my heart
although it was an auspicious occasion
she was not committed to this relation
for she had already set her sights
upon those same starry lights.

★★★★★

Unbeknownst to me and what we agreed
she promised her hand to anothers band
where she would shine as bright as stars
and I would be left with a shattered heart
for this truly would be a rare occasion
to witness the birth of a new sensation
one known to some as love of light
as you look upon a starry night.
This is a mirror poem where the second verse mirrors the rhyme structure of the first.
the warm rays that used to engulfs me
now starting to fade

where does the tunnel lead to
cause I can't see where the end is

Darkness.

It was a surly heart
that I received through
the facades of this place
where I could no longer
feel the intensity
or the port thins
in Hummingbird.

The pavement.

From where I reach
the households that were lively
as it is,
now is just a muffled
lullaby, not wanting to be heard.

For once, I knew,
we are the shambles
we let them in
we let them see
until now we follow
I could not find the dimmer.

The light.

Has gone through
the running walls of this world
the pit was so deep
ghosts passing
tireless and ageless
lost for once again.

Ghosts.

From where they are reborn
into the blackness
where the void remains
an imagination
a fantasy where the minds
tackle for the parallel,
from which they waver and perish,
an ambush.

Singularity.

Now I drift and ramble
till I picked up the ticking second
falling from the top
from when it lost me,
'tis now the moment to be created again.
When a soul is fallen,
that is when he is found.

Vigorous colors.

Memories of warmth colors
bringing back the place
of yearning,
back then is only a muffled lullaby,
now is a peeking peekaboo!
If uniqueness as it is
and that later than mortal
is now a vital colors
glowing as it is —
in the pavement of Hummingbird.
My last piece was a wreck and I am quite satisfied from this poem! :)

I realized too many of us forget to look up.
To look up from our busy lives,
Heartfelt cries,
and see the starry sky.

To look up from our troubles,
Our adventures,
Our times had on this earth,
And see the twinkling lights above.

Do we take them for granted,
These stars?
The ones always there?
Do we forget to realize that we can’t always see them?
So we should drink them in when we can?

Drown in the eternal abyss that is the night sky.
Breathe in deep,
Until we feel like we’re on an oxygen high.

Fill our lungs with fresh air,
Our eyes with the sky,
And get lost in all that God has created.

Watch the stars shimmer and shine.
Watch them glimmer and glow.
Watch closely for the ones that shoot across that starry sight,
Filling our hearts with childlike delight.

Make wishes,
Say prayers.
Give thanks-
That God made possible each clear dark sky and star filled night,
Each starry sight we see.

As I drive by, electricity fills the sky!

What beauty these lights have within
this powerful sight.

There's so much energy, and the force is
tremendous!

Oh, how these lights are so pretty
but so dangerous.

If you blink, you just might miss it
...so look carefully!

And you will see, how spectacular
it is really.
I wrote this when I was driving to work one morning :)

The only thing he was closed to was
             the bottle or his gun...
Caressing both gently as he lingered
on this chair..
He had thoughts of yesterday,
            The barrel still had that
         just used smell,
he sniffed the casing.

Smiling at the cold effortlessness
for which he knew it was
going to be used once again.
As he leant back the front door opened,
             A gentleman strolled in,
turning his rooms dim lights on.
            Not even noticing me sitting
there, smiling as he walks past..
A head then pops back around.

The pistol pointing at his blank expression,
I use the gun as a pointer showing,
him where to go.I can see in his eyes he want
to run, to do something stupid.

"Don't even think about it,
as I wave the gun at him,
as I if I were gesturing him
                                               "No,

He sits there, calmly sweating.
              Eyes racing around his skull.
A hundred and one bad ideas of what to do...
But there is only one out come.
Its ok, I tell him. if I were going to **** you,
I'd have put one in the back of skull outside when
you were concentrating on opening your front porch.

So we find ourselves in a predicament.

My son found out about my past from you?
He's a version of  me, at a younger time.
But I wanted to bestow on him knowledge of
my transgression at a moment of my choosing...

So when a parrot talks to much do you pluck its
feathers, or do you snap its neck?
       what you think!

What should I do, so many things my son now
                     thinks he knows...

Do we have an understanding here..

He nods in a hastily manner,

the next day I watch my son,
the **** of my heritage
                      go to the parrots cage,

He answers the door..

Words are spoken, Raised voices are spoken.
Then the door slams in my sons face,
       he kicks the door,
he has my temperament that kid.
As he drives off, I wait,
the parrot is flying the coop..

As he gets in to his car echoes bounce of the
surrounding as broken glass falls like broken
snow flakes. The interior now painted with
his mistake. Parrots should never talk...

I walk off, later finding my sons car.
I smell the barrel, god that smell never
gets old.. putting it in his glove compartment.
taking my gloves off I wonder in the house.
Asking him why there's a pistol in his car?
Running out he grabs it out, and now his prints
are on it.. lets see him betray his old man now..

Bright city lights,
I’ve never seen dark nights,
except the ones in my head,
only darkness seems to spread
