Remember?

Remember when we were just kids?
When we used to dance in the rain?
without a worry and careless?
We did not think about how sick we might get
or how bad we would look with our soaked clothes.
We did not even worry about the following minute.
We were not worried about people watching us,
Hell, we did not even understand the notion of judgement.
we just lived in the moment.

The feeling of the droplets of water on our little faces
as we looked up at the sky laughing and waving at the clouds.
The movement of the water in harmony with our feet
as we tried to see who could make the biggest splash.
The happiness those little moments brought us
was greater than any menacing consequence
or possible future problems.

Those were simpler times.
Happier ones.
Ones I wish I could relive.

They are the ones we spend our whole life chasing after
without truly ever reaching them
  because
we think too much,
plan too much,
worry too much.
So much so that we sometimes forget to live.

If you can,
hold onto that innocence,
That fearlessness,
That carelessness,
That spontaneity,
for once you lose it,
once you conform to the absurd idea
of growing up being a synonym of worrying more,
you will have this hole in your spirit
this hole left by the lost of
a feeling we do eve have a name for.
Hold up with that block chain
conflicted economy
keep up the complaints gain
Fall in line with wannabes
Situate yourself into a failing position
Cross the line of chance and miracles without decision
Are you listening to the rhythm or are you trying to glisten on
Shining blindin yourself and everyone you’re walk-in on
Hold a second crazy cuz I’m busy for your hazy mess
Crowded in my head but world is filled with emptiness

Glamour baby
Watch out
Tear at the game
Hear them shout
Test my circuits
Freak out
Sparkin in your eyes
Get down

I’m searching for equality, but let me play don’t bother me
Addicted to the gifted that you try to clone in quantity
Sober up while gettin lit
Fill our cup don’t ever quit
Seeking self control inside of every little hit
Spare the change
Stay the same
It’s a **** shame
We’re all insane
Can’t contain
Past remains
Thinking that we like the pain
Universal consciousness
Never kiss
Heavens bliss
Shake the earth with every moment captivated by a wish
Cold and calculated marketed discrimination
Switch the station work do wages go through phases different stages
Visitation rights to our ancestors blight
Fuel fire engaged engines blast and burn it bright
Out of sight
Out of energy
Not quite, close so let it be
Do you feel me
Come fair to be free
work the weight til they bury me
Commemorate the warriors, fighting behind enemy lines, with idols and worshippers for a war designed to ruin all sides
Guinea pigs
Flipping tricks
Scary that we handle bricks
Galactic motivation cuz they know there’s something more than this
Space it out
Dimension strong
Definitive in guessing the irony of being wrong
Template made
Run the track
Tie shoes or you may never come back
Lock and load
Here we go
Infinity
Now end this show

Rubayiat Al Thurab (Verses of the Dust) - 71

BismillahIr RahmanIr Raheem

A valuable lesson everyone should eagerly grasp
No pleasant matter how we learn precisely
You undoubtedly have to learn properly.

Wherever you promptly initiate, it will properly end.
And wherever ends it will begins newly.
Its unthinkable just a valuable lesson
That everyone should naturally learn.

In our active life one-time,
We typically teach to others.
During times others uplift us,
A moral lesson to eagerly absorb.
A key lesson about yourself!

Mystifying Chaos Mar 2019
There's a sorrow in my soul
That I wish to share
But it's hiding behind its own curtain of despair.

I was up all night
Wondering what sadness tastes like;
Smooth as honey with a pinch of spice,

As it drips down the throat,
And settles like acid
Burning the intestines.

He told me what regret looks like:
Heartache and gut-wrenching cries.
I knew, it's misery that resides in his eyes;

Crouching in the corner
Ready to pounce,
Biting into the neck,
As the blood spills out

Scraping old wounds,
Blurry sight.
A closet full of skeletons,
With penance on the mind.

Loss smells a lot like Christmas.
Family gathering around
Sharing memories of a lifetime.

Photographs from 1989,
Same old letters
Scattered around the desk.

People talk about what could be
Heaven and Earth,
And everything in between.

Deceit sounds a lot like a dream
You get out of one,
And fall into another as you sleep.

Shards of glass
Ripping through the spine
As shame builds up a shrine.

Desperation feels a lot like home
You float in the air,
As you cling onto hope.

Somedays are better;
Somedays are worse
But what remains

Is a lesson that has been left unheard.

Drown in the ocean of sinful pleasure
we got entrapped in worldly admiration
Not minding the elders admonition
In desire of mirage and shadows

Many got entrapped in *****,
Where destiny gets traded
for the pleasure thereof
A city destroyed, yet unseen
but found its way into the heart of man
In the genetic code of love
Love you, they proclaim
But lost lies behind

Gift upon gift
Glittering and enchanting
Unknown to be bait
Just a little bite, just this last bite
Then nemesis bounced on us like a prey
And we hated the pleasure therein
Now we are broken to pieces
And ripped apart
Though we learnt our lesson the hard way
But indeed we learnt!

To
heal,
you
first
have
to
know
what
         cut you.

This is my life.
I will not let you take my identity
Just bc my life is riddled with your memories does not mean you are a part of me.
You're only a lesson I have learned and a reason to never look back.
I do deserve better.
And you? You deserve to get exactly what you dished out.
Don't worry sweetie, if you think you were so perfect you have nothing to worry about,
Right?

Oh Karma♡

Day by day he became a man
surrounded by family and friends
Day by day he makes himself understand
Death is not an amend
Death isn't an amend, fixing things is never that simple
You’ve gotten so lost
In never again
You’ve forgotten
The symphony held
Within dark clouds,
The harmony
Of thunder
This poem is about how deeply meaningful and profound sadness and sorrow can be and how helpful it can be to find lessons and joy in the midst of it.
