You transgress

I transgress?

You transgress

No, you transgress.  I have stuck to the brief.

You have not adhered

Have not adhered?  I adhere in every direction.  I have adhered left, right, up, down, and occasionally in circles.

Oxford comma or no Oxford comma?

Twice the usual number

You rat

YOU rat

You fool

YOU fool

you transgress

The
Judical system
is just part of the system
that has nothing to do with
you or me.
Now, if it works,
that's yet to be seen.
The next example could be made;
out of you or out of me.

Peace is not just the absence of any war;
But the defense of our hard-earned freedoms.
Today, we do not live, or rest, in peace.
There may be no turbulence on our soil,
No chaotic bloodshed scorching our earth,
But that doesn't mean the ship is steady.

Our nation might be at what they call "Peace",
But as long as justice is not upheld,
As long as our freedoms are trampled on,
As long as our courts stay in lawlessness,
We are so, so very far from that Peace.

To reach that Arcadia, that Promised Land,
Our laws must change; our officers must change,
Our people must change; our mindsets must change,
We must change. Change has to sweep up our hearts.
Now.
More than anything, Ferguson and Garner must tell us to change. Neither extreme is right; neither looting and rioting nor blatant injustice. We must find some compromise, some middle ground--if not for us, but for the restless souls of our dead brothers.

Had a lot on my mind
Tried jotting it down
Now I'm facing a DWI
Told the officer
Sir I'm not drunk
I was just writing while I drive

So he gave me a WWD
Just a Short humorous poem.  We have all had that great idea strike us at the most inconvenient times.  Remember don't write and drive.

Lost in the fog, tripping through words
I stumble upon sight of a flying bird,
but he’s not really flying, he’s lost too.
Poor thing belongs in a zoo more than I do.

That’s hard to say, considering my giant jaw.
Considering the laws against my sharpened paws,
But I clawed my way out and I’m not going back,
Either way, I’m running; now let's get back on track.
Fun stuff
What's so illegal about wanting to marry?
What's so illegal about not wanting that weight to carry?
What's so illegal about inhaling the pain away?
What's so illegal about not living another day?

Our choice, our freedoms, once all in the same.
Now apposed by laws and wars and the Government's games.
War on drugs, anti-gay marriage,
No more abortions might as well lead to "accidental" miscarriage.

Suicides and trespassers both shot in the head,
Hacking games and fake identities, you might as well be dead.
Everything we fear the pessimists then "amend"
Pretending to be gods as if their hands are to be a lend.

What happened to the world when freedom was a lifetime?
Not where fat bellowing rich men made ruling us their pastime.
A rebellion is out of the question,
For people are afraid of more oppression.

Somehow comfortable in homes where brains lie with matrix,
Merely made up of fools who are not creative.
Sick of living in these countries of lies,
Freedom is all I ask but it is what others despise.

What's so illegal about being free?
What's so illegal about being me?

This Black African nun in cherished photo
she calls our right to vote
Her kindness in her laughing squinting eyes,
and her kind bow smile to match
The voice of liberty written and etched upon
her kind and brilliant face; all imprinted for years
to come

All hail her bus with her sisters all in one;
a beautiful chariot on busy wheels that run
across our nation to give a helping hand
And lift our thirsty spirits on a dry and desolute land

They hold that lamp of liberty on kind hands
and gentle voice, but strong in truth be known,
to hold our basic right, to close those drapes and
snap a switch, to a voice of our own

They cross our land in valor in gentleness and kind
these nuns of liberty and justice in an unjust time

Their hearts are made from goodness; their strength
so often done, in a land so heavily pillaged, they will
never never succumb. They see a new sun rising over
the distant hill
They know their work of justice never to be still...
This is dedicated to "BUS OF NUNS"
an actual group of nuns making a positive pitch against
voter ID laws and Jerrymandering

It's a place filled with red
Burning flames hurting the dead
They didn't listen, but they heard
About the messiah, and all he said

It's a place filled with light
The Messiah's home, looking so bright
Golden gates made of white
Opened for only those who did right

The choice is yours
Hell is wide with open doors
Either stay wrong or right your flaws
Heaven is yours, if you abide by his laws

As I sit down to write tonight,
I engage a painful sight,
I can't trust this,
Kangaroo courts version of justice,
It just isn't right.
Innocent women and kids,
Losing their life.
There futures so bright,
They could insight,
maybe, if given a fair chance at life,
They could have been the one to write
the amendments, to the bill of rights,
That condemn those who take a life.
And make things right,
Using history's hindsight,
to govern wrong from right
But,
This a is game, not a life.
Such a painful thing,
cuts deeper than a knife.
Wrong or right, crossing the line,
between black or white,
the grey matter, doesn't matter,
If you can afford the bill,
justice gets sacrificed.
All men created equal,
I guess that part comes,
in the after life.
In this unjust life,
if the price is right,
You can take a life,
And bill your rights,
Like a light bill,
the only difference is,
Your taking a life.
Court approved, Hung jury
So it's alright.
Forget,
What's wrong from right,
The guilty, becoming a celebrity, over night.
Get an expensive attorney,
use the law as a mockery,
Then cop a plea, pay a fee,
bargain it from all degrees, and get set free.
All I you need is the right legal team,
And you do it legally.
To handle it judicially, which means
Basically,
Using a system built to protect me-- against me.
setting criminals free, now they're running free,
in our community. Legal mutiny, judging me
a mistaken identity; between the innocent and guilty.
