A palindrome isn't a palindrome, intriguingly
How can that be?
That something isn't itself by definition, literally
...Am I really me?
Sean Achilleos Apr 2018
You got into your car and went looking for me
You had one thing in mind
You chose me among many others
Of course I came at a price
Then you fired me up
I felt the grip of your warm hands surrounding me
I knew you wouldn't let go until you're done
You forced your supple soft lips against me
At times it felt like you were ******* the life out of me
After using me to satisfy your need
You tossed me aside and stepped on me like I was nothing
You wanted to make sure that I was dead
There was no spark left in me
But I guess that is what you get
When you're nothing but a cigarette

Isn't it weird
And a bit funny
With a touch of irony
That we understand something
But someone has to say it for us to realize it?
In my head understanding and realizing something is very different. Understanding is something I know but realizing is something I can explain

The thing about heartbreak
Is it stains
Each happy memory
With a dark smudge of irony.

Your voice filtered into my veins,
I feel your soul
screaming making no sense at me.

I draw hard reality
I´m fated to make noise.
In this hypocrisy
covered in silence.

We use to be heroes,
and now it´s us
who are need to be saved.

Interesting irony,
understand life´s game.
Realize that we are just players.

-Losing games.

Our planet is like
A spec of dirt in the space
Our ego bigger than the space
In the human race

We call ourselves
**** sapiens, the wisest race
Still we fight bitter than animals
Dismissing the nature's grace

Of being unique.

I wish I was strong
if not for myself
But for her sake
If only I could raise my voice
To sing this song
So she can dance
Let her be herself
And let it all out
To have my voice give me a chance
I want her to see my choice
To know what it's all about
But my voice never gets a break
