Maybe eating the brown acid wasn't a very good decision.

ever since you sold your soul to the devil, you haven't been the same.
your lips keep telling me one thing,
but your eyes won't do the same.

i watched your innocence fade,
i saw you build your brigade,
so i couldn't move in.

i wasn't pushed,
i was shoved.

though we touched,
we never loved.

i didn't feel, i created illusions,
hoping that you could fulfill them.

we strive for perfection
but perfection constantly changes
it’s never set
you work for one goal
to find it doesn’t complete your cravings
you change for one person
who could reject
you try new things
who could object
we are constantly evolving
until we find that finally one
the one that makes us into perfection for eternity

life is an ocean
life is a scrape
both flowing in one direction
waiting for an opposing force to break
the stream
the motion
bodies become one with the current
either in whole
or just a finger
you're the one to break your cycle

ever wondered if dreams are reality.
and reality is a dream.
if we are living in someone else’s mind.
that we aren’t real.
that we are a product of someone’s imagination.
that you are nothing.
you are the invisible friend.

raised a passionate voice
against the darkness
and standing as one in the setting sun
we held hands and looked on with
wonder in our eyes and joy in our hearts
as the banners flowed in the late day breeze
as the children of our beliefs carried the day
as our trusted man took the field with victory's cheer
saw the fruit of our labors come at long last
peace had defeated war
love had destroyed hate
caring had swept away all the cold hearted
and we could at long last breath free
long last we could thrive in the sun
they say that the time has passed for such dreams
that the sixties are so long ago
but history is filled with men who stood up
and changed the world
gandhi...lincoln...martin luther king...
so take my hand and lets not ever stop trying
to change the world
one smile at a time
Hollow Jun 2014
I love the feeling
Of ice cold lips
White rain
Blue fingertips

Looking up as
Flakes of beauty
Caress my eyelashes

I can play guitar in the snow
And sing a song
Me and my dog

Wanderers
Ever so hollow
Just going with the flow

Like the little perfect flakes
Falling to rest
On the ground

And like snowflakes
We melt into nonexistence
Packing up
And following the next storm

There is no rest for the cold
I suppose my soul
Is
*Ice

Light candles
Burn incense
Listening to the rain
**** thinking about school
Numb your mind
for a while
Listen to your soul
For once
