Bountiful Land
They invaded this land because they thought it was rich
With bountiful natural resources and endless wealth
And a population to be enslaved against their will
The battles were long and arduous but they finally won
Another victory carved on their war axe
With thousands of soldiers killed or wounded or missing
This was nothing compared to the defenders
Destruction was almost complete and off the scale
Scorched earth policies and a will not to lose were to blame
But lose they did to a superior enemy force
Who now controlled a land of ashes and subjugated inhabitants
But that was fine for under the ground there were riches
Oil, gas, diamonds, coal, varied metal ores and much more
This would further their wealth and war production and killing
But it was all a lie…
Rock samples proved it was a second Japan
A barren land of nothing except dust, grit and dirt
The invaders fell for the biggest lie in human history
They had conquered a barren infertile land
Involuntarily following the Devil’s actions to the letter
His puppets on Earth killing for the lie of plunder
And watched all the while by the witch
Satan’s biggest enemy in the biggest war there was
She waited and got ready to strike her blow
With weapons never yet used on Earth

You broke my heart
It’s hard to fix gold
But in the end, it’s still worth the same

him
the remnants of his laugh was the mere ringing in my ears
and the touch of his fingers
a phantom feeling
yet my skin prickles
and a shiver slithers
down the length of my spine
how could i forget the colour of his eyes?
ones that held the sun inside
every stare lights my flesh ablaze
how could i forget the colour of his voice?
each word spoken lined in gold
dazzling like his smile
oh, that smile.
and when my words faltered
and stumbled on themselves
he'd card his hands through my hair
but the world has different ways to torture someone
i won't be forgetting him anytime soon.

you are a man
with a plan
from where I stand
one hand
tied
to my backside

why
oh why
must i comply
one track
mind
flick onto
a folded blind

why
oh why
must you spit
into my eye

lie
on the floor
naked soul
survived.
abuse is forever embedded on your soul
remember you are a survivor
and now you're made of gold

They are ugly, they are old
There's no beauty on their face,
Yet they create memories
Laughing late in nights,
They create something to remember
When these times don't return!
There is beauty inside their heart,
Life is beautiful in midst of ugliness
When you have a friend, or a pal
A pal which ignores
the mirror, mirror on the wall!
Who does actually cares
Who's the fairest of them all!
It's not the beauty which is worthy
Its the memories made together, gold!

she was a doll strung together with elastic
and her skin was of the finest china
smooth, crafted with the highest of care
and not a scratch to disturb her perfection
beneath her porcelain flesh
are bones of malleable gold
soft to the touch
expensive

truly,
she was not just any collector's item.

If my journey was to be easy,
I would've missed valuable lessons
Cause for sure each turn in it
answers my questions!

If it wasn't for a scratch
I would've never learn
to climb a tree
If it wasn't for a sting
I would've never know
How to dodge a bumblebee

If there weren't any dark nights
I would've never know
How to make a fire
The fire which helped me
Passing muck and mire

If it wasn't for the thunders and rain
the sunlight and rainbows
I could've never obtain!
If it wasn't for the wild waves
Wet, the sand would never be
And won't allow me to make a sand castle
And rule it like its queen!

Rich season.
High in value.
Retro gold.
All sunflowers beauty sold.

Orange, yellow and brown.
Is what fills my ground.
Autumn gold. Orange leaves.
Sunflower petals. And the brown seeds.
This was just a typical Autumn dream.

It was the success
Which I always ran after
spending days fetching it
In life's each chapter

I hiked the highest mountains
Dived the deepest seas
I fished the fluffiest cloud
But success was nowhere to be seen

I entered the darkest den
Climbed the highest tree
Drank the reddest blood
But success always
Ditched me!

Success was like the horse in the field
Running fast and free
failure was what I only got
When I wished taming,
The horse in the field

It was very late
When I found success
was all along in my pocket
Sitting right besides me

Success was in the journey
I took to climb the heights
It sat besides the road
Watching me days and nights

Success was not the horse
But the field it ran in
Success always held my hands
Like a silent, desired kin!
