You and I will crack one day
The smoothness will all go away
And as our hairs fade into grey
Will the love still stay?

We promise love until the dust
But so often forget the rust
Failing frequently to discuss
What happens if nothing happens to us

The porcelain will splinter and chip
Marking, for some, where the veil rips
But my love lasts more than just a stint
Of smooth skin on my fingertips

For if the twilight fades the blue
It replaces it with countless hues
And so will grow my love for you
In seeing, remem’bring what we’ve gone through

You and I will crack, no doubt
But my love will faithfully pour out
To endless bound, in copious amounts
A quenching water from an undying spout
“I believe when I fall in love with you, it will be forever...” -Stevie Wonder

“When I give my heart, it will be completely, or I will never give my heart...” -Nat King Cole

“In time the Rockies may tumble, Gibraltar may crumble, they’re only made of clay. But our love is here to stay...”

We were mixed up when it built;
One another forced to coexist.
As it drew us high and higher still,
Below us grew the abyss.

Overflowing with ecstasy,
We left our hearts astray.
The obnubilating and obsolete
Had gotten our way.

Obstacles vanished one by one,
Increasingly slaying the beast.
Moments we thought we'd won
Are when we'd won the least.

We stretched out our hands towards the sky
Like wretched ghosts wrapped in disguise,
As though we had just found a new paradise
With the devil ahead leading as our guide.

We followed him throughout the land:
"This way leads us to the great fountain",
And now we're stuck in a desert of sand
Wondering when oases shall be attained.

We've taken a bet against our nature.
Was it anyone-in-particular's fault?
"For every curse there'll be a cure,
For every flood there'll be a drought."

Once more, again, we shall repeat,
To morrow, and for ever more.
When the sunshine now seems to greet
And when the darkness falls,

Comes that nighttime of our lives;
We ponder what we've been,
But what we're we supposed to be
When the pact was always sealed.

So we wait in such anxiety,
The impatience growing itchy;
And we amass, tall in piles,
To crash onto the shores like the sea.

Sitting on the edge
Angel water fountain flow
A sweet wish per coin
Been a while since I did a simple haiku!
Got more poems on the way! Got something really special planned too! ^-^

Under the golden fountain,
Watch I my silver brothers:
Shooting high as a mountain;
Landing on the still waters.

Silver Blue, wish I were you;
Tho’ each one is so tiny,
All can shine brighter than dew;
Give some of your shine to me!

The ink is pitch black
And the fountain pen was white
Summoned a poem.
A little haiku 5-7-5 poem :)

Blissful and wistful
Fleeting hearts poured in a cup
Where her lips greet mine

Imagine.
Your gift, your craft, your love,
seeping.
Your fingers become a sanguine
fountain, bubbling and oozing down the drain.
Like your dreams.
Like your craft
The shadows of fear and anxiety wrap around you.
Your paranoia hazing your vision.
Your thoughts becoming drums in your mind
and you feel numb.
Empty.
And you fall on the floor,
your gift in your hand
your fingers are extant
but they feel like nothing but phantoms.
It is then that you know the value of life.
The unpredictability is
the
Grim Reaper...

Unpredictability was nearly the
death of this author.
I know I've been away from this page. I apologise. A lot of things have transpired...but I'm back with a bang! This is based on an incident that happened to me recently. I cut my finger to the bone and man, I didn't think one could bleed so much from it. I lost so much blood that I nearly passed out and this cut rendered my writing hand useless...for a time. I was so scared. I don't know what I'd didn't have it anymore...
Please, be grateful for what you can do. Life's unpredictability can be terrifying but be grateful. I am able to write again after a few weeks of being not feeling my hand. I always remember that there is someone out there in a worse position than I am. I still have my hands, I still have my fingers. Someone out there would **** to be in the same position as me.
I'll always remember...

Observing the profane sky in yellow
And the utter mountains arising alike fountains below
Why I'm nothing but another fellow
 What the best of oneness' able to bestow
Beneath the heart of earth, upside down, wheresoever's low
