He was my Firework
Beautiful, mesmerizing, and the perfect rhyme
He made me feel all kinds of things
with only just few ticks of time

But you, my Sun
make me giggle in all kinds of ways
you give me a certain kind of warmth
the certain kind that stays

Throughout the day
and even in the darkness of the night
You'll always find a way
to reach my heart with your light

I loved the Firework
It was amazing, surreal and fun
But know that I love you infinitely more
And I always will, my Sun

we are like stars, like dying embers,
clusters of us and only one
explodes.

my dreams have turned me into desire,
and i wonder where my desire will take me,
i wonder what my desire will make me.

will i be like star, or ember,
or will i be like the fireworks at night,
the ones no one notices until they explode.

that boom sounds like my heartbeat
-it’s still looking for a beat.
hasn’t found one yet.

hasn’t found one yet,
but it seems to beat for you.

darling, you know i love the stars.
at night, they light up the sky,
they’re brilliant and i can’t not love them.

you’re a star of mine,
brilliant,
but do you fade?

in the morning, will you still seem
bright,
or beautiful?

are you even there?

i’m scared you only glow at night,
and that my eyes will lose you,
and my heart will just beat somewhere else.

will you stay in the morning,
or will you be gone
like the fireworks last night?

i wish i could be with you
not necessarily for the celebration
but for the beautiful fireworks

the sparks

admiring you

admiring them

but instead i am admiring you
from afar
and the sparks fly between us through text message.

next year i'll be with you my love,
next year will be our year.

Oh, the million
Fireworks that explode in
My heart when we kiss.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-

**** yeah babe I'm a firework
'bout to burst through the sky in a brilliant
flash of emotion bringing happiness to the couple
sprinting through the streets

-FLASH-

Burnt out.
Expended.
Used.
A (albeit short) part of an inspired poem
the fireworks made me
see the word 'alive'
they said people like me
couldn't feel things
but i did that very night
the page was flipped
we embark on time
maybe this year 'round
we'll do it right
but darling, did the fireworks
make you feel alive too?
make you feel hope
make you want to explode
make you want to be beautiful
make you want to stay
make you scream
make you smile
make you stare
and say 'hey, look at that,
i made it through again."
made a cheesy poem about new year ** wishing u all the beeeest <3

You are the firework of my heart.
You are the boom as sparkles depart.
You bring bright, amazing color
like no other.
You are the firework of my heart.
You make fire to art.
You acquire a spark
and light up the dark.
You are the firework of my heart.

Like the smoke blown from each puff of your cigarette, we dance in the air being left to the guidance of the wind. Our journey is unpredictable, perhaps the only thing in my life not subject to my incessant planning and worry, you are the dancing flame the only real source of light here. The only warth that dances among the icey hallways and hollow rooms of my life.
There is no predictability in the wind. No known destination or definitive end. It scares me, you scare me, as I look into your eyes as we soar through the air and I realise you may be the one thing I truly could have no control over.
The side of me that guards my true self in a gated cell is terrified. Terrified that the walls it has built to keep my true self away from the life and person it wants to be may come crashing down from a simple blow of your mighty breath or a bat of your infinity eyes.
I've lived my life being scared of the wind, running from the outside avoiding open space, lest my hair be ruined or my well kept shirt be moved around but lately I haven't cared about that so much. Lately I hang out of my bedroom window and imagine your solo dance when I'm not around. You look majestic even though you'd curse me for saying so.
But I can feel you slipping away now, as the toll of bad timing and past trauma halt us like closed doors and building walls. I can see you slipping into just another status on my screen in three months time, wondering why the wind doesn't blow here anymore.
A random conversation asking how the others life has been before disappearing into our own uniquely different hells again.
Maybe that's how it was always supposed to go, maybe we were never a flame or raging fire, a great pyre lite to light up the night. Perhaps we were a firework, a moment of ethereal beauty revealing what the night could have been but never is in endless shadow.
We put on a good show, with terrified eyes and tender hands we exploded in a canvas of colour and energy.
I danced in the wind but for a second and I wouldn't trade the second for the night.

Bokeh flares glitter.

Give me love
Give me love
Give me love

Spirals of white.

Give me love
Give me love
Give me love

Dancing yellow light screeches.
Overwhelming prisms flash through.
Angry heated red sets fire.
Meadow green comforts, too.

I close my eyes and I listen.

I see a masterpiece painted behind my eyes, sitting, waiting to be discovered.

Encovered. Enearthed. A firework display of passion errupting in time

One and two and three and four ...

Blood, oceans, dirt, sun

The words bring the passion and the passion brings the show.

The rhythm creates the motion, gives life to the color.

Color.

Give me love
Give me love
Give me love

Every song has color.
Every song has a display.
All we need to do is close our eyes and wait and

Take the time to listen.
