I’ve never put a candidate’s bumper sticker on my car before—
why not take sides—what are you waiting for?
Death puts a stop to daily low intensity warfare but in the meantime—
      fight on!
What are we fighting for? Let’s see—
clean air and water and room to walk around in cities and deserts
America the seeing eye dog not America the junkyard dog—
collective deliberation among nations, clear passage through seas and
      borders
compact and contiguous Congressional districts that represent actual
      communities
education and health care for everyone who wants it—worldwide
good food too, affordable shelter and a living wage
a say in governance—local and global—free from fear of violence

Should you be subsumed by a cause bigger than the self?
unlike Rick in Casablanca who keeps to himself
I’m advertising my loyalties with bumper stickers on rickshaw and kayak
every time I come and go
it’s a free country—or maybe I’m so low profile no one notices or
      cares to take revenge
so small time I have time and no enemies or friends
What about Whitman and his love for Lincoln
he found a way to participate in the war that satisfied his muse, as a
      nurse
oh, I want to add space exploration and no nuclear war
plus basic science and ancient arts, black lives matter

Here are some things you have to put up with or out of mind
while enjoying the beautiful black and white photography and rousing
      Marseillaise:
that Sam, played by Dooley Wilson in worshipful subservience to “Mr.
      Rick,” endures his lonely abnegation and abstinence in Paris while
      Rick savors the nordically white, luscious Ilsa;
that Ilsa, on the lam across the wide world from pursuing Nazis, is
      apparently transporting an extensive, elegant, perfectly manicured
      wardrobe;
that Rick, in wartime Casablanca, has managed to hire a full 20-piece
      jazz orchestra for which we willingly suspend disbelief since it’s
      essential for singing the Marseillaise which never fails to bring tears
      of pride to Yvonne’s eyes;
I guess that’s about it except why would you spend a minute in Sydney
      Greenstreet’s fly-infested café when Rick’s air-conditioned
      establishment is right across the street, an overnice contrast to
      Maghreb culture;
otherwise, I’m in complete accord with IMDb’s 8.5 rating.

On the news last night the president changed the trajectory of a
      category 4 hurricane. He can’t do that! Not my president! They’re
      laughing at us!
Who’s got trouble? We've got trouble. How much trouble? Too much
      trouble.
After Casablanca, it's headed for South Carolina.
--Jerome, M.K. and Scholl, Jack, “Knock on Wood”, as performed by Dooley Wilson in the film Casablanca, 1942.
De-escalation
to the last detail
you know my psyche
you never fail

Perfect behaviour
suspicious to say the least
Witness of your beauty
unaware of you as a beast

Jury executioner and judge
Using your friend as a lawyer
to deliver your grudge

In every action
you find a flaw
Forever defeated
my aim is a draw

Watching it all fall down
One by one
After another the leader fell behind
I left what was in mind
Premonitions. Lucid visions of time
When the world presented revealing  signs
I am not alone

                    Losing my grips
with my own sanity
You hear the knocking?
Get The Door.
You must live
For your family
One of us falls, we all fall together
and get back up!

It's foolish to only show out
in the paint! A heart so soft and  faint.
So quick to flex on something
You want to be, but you ain't

So you tell me.
I rather  Gohan. Before, I go home.
Most of you, try hella to go hard.
In every universe, my babies will go far.
Leaving a legacy of memories within the stars
Sometimes I wonder if my soul is meant for the boneyard

More moves are made across the board
Death loves to dance with me
There's so much that has been hurting me
What is there to gain?
So much doubt. Worry. Uncertainty.
What will I lose
If I joined you for eternity?
The love for life and you adds up like currency.
There is endless mystery in my deck
Played your trap, now my magic takes effect
They will find every reason to vex
Going on with little time to rest
Because your problems can't be solved in bed
Can't stop the screaming in my head.
This is your chance to run away!
Why it must be a fight?
Sacrificial living and seductive suicide
Dead or Alive.
Alive outside. Death inside.
Existing Never Mattered!
When you are on the field
Placing bets on your life
When it's about to get real.
I will kneel
Give my life
to **** pain
Go out with honor
Or give into the chaos
For it all to be in vain!

I used to be stupid.
I would cash in my
pride like arcade tickets,
only able to pick from
the cheapest of prizes.
Selling my dignity on the weekends
like a reoccurring flea market.
Never made a dime and
more was taken
than I ever had
to offer, but ****,
I sure had his attention
so I figured I'd stay broke.
It wasn't until after I
had become his preferred
choice of currency
that I realized how
broke I was.
But you can't take somebody
to court and demand they
return what they stole
from you
when you know the judge
won't find any evidence.
I stayed silent
when my case was thrown out
and my request for a
restraining order against my feelings
was denied.
So **** it, I fired my lawyer
and defended myself.
I never needed a courtroom
to settle things anyway.
It was a quiet victory,
but I hope to god
it was screaming in your head.
Constantly it changed everything.
Overthrows hopes among people,
Varied thoughts, feelings, and demands
Ignites humans’ inability to understand, how
Deadly this virus can be.

Its existence
Creates a big change.
A change that made everything
Fall into place and Space
Or nearly destroys what’s in order.

How did the virus earn its crown?
It is on its pedestal!
Corona,
Corona, the virus!
Virus and it's viral.

Could it be a blessing or not?
Could we be grateful that it exists?
Or it merely
Destroys
Harmony and order.

Corona,
Consoles people
Offers love and care to others;
Reunites shattered and damaged ones;
Nestles kindness and patience to one and all;
Allows bonds and relations to grow deeper.

Is it an epiphany?
A sort of vision to see how beautiful our future will be,
If everyone cares to see the good in each other?
To admire and to appreciate the efforts and hard work of all men
Regardless of life status?
Is it not great to see how people around the globe love one another?

This pandemic shocked the world indeed.
It paved a way to heal what’s broken
Living and non-living things;
Yes, let us include everything that God has created.
We have forgotten our sole responsibility to His gifts.

Corona,
Cures and heals.
Optimistically changes the heart of many;
Rhetorically awakens all to contemplate;
Obliged everybody to care;
Now, behold and pray.

This too shall pass.
Many have died but this would not end
Your hope and faith.
Together we fight,
Together we uncrown
Corona!
from my book ABCs of LIFE

This too shall pass. Keep safe everyone.

💔
Why do people shout?
If no one will hear a sound..

Why do people fight?
When they don't have the right.

Why do they suiside?
While God is by their side.

Why do people steal?
While they live in fear

Why do people stare?
While they know its not theirs

Why would people share?
If love was never there

These two elements were enemies since dawn

When they fought, the whole world would be warned

As heat met cold, smoke would alight

While they quarreled, the land stood in fright

The Fire had a fierceness to her that the Water could not match

The heat could paralyze you, even the smallest of a scratch

But she would lose her temper whenever she talked

The Water took advantage and would continue to mock

The Water on the other hand was smart and full of wisdom

Her power was so mighty that it could wash away kingdoms

However, how clever she may be, her cowardice was known

The heat burned her when it was shown

Who lost? Who won? No one knows anymore

But we know that they fought a thousand times in the lore

It's a mystery when will they stop

But one thing is final,

While the Water runs cold, the Fire burns hot.
