How I fell for you?
We have never met.
But still I let you in
to my world of battle.
When things weren't good for me,
You made me laugh,
Bestowing the peace of mind
I always yearned for ,
by your magical voice.

I may be falling in love, or going crazy, though perhaps they're both the same.

I fell in love with the silence, a married man entertaining this affair; cause my heart does not belong to the silence, when you call my name.
For discordant sounds and songs, I do not care, though your voice is a soothing melody flowing into my ears.

Memories hurt like
pressing a bruise.
They ache
and you want to tear
it out and away but
it's stuck to your flesh.

Memories are like
cigarette smoke,
you lay awake craving
them but when you give
in it stings and you can't
quite breathe anymore.

Memories are like black
coffee half burnt in
the ***.
Bitter and scalding,
painful to taste and
swallow.

Memories choke you
out with the force
of your own sobs,
gasping for air and
begging for mercy.

Memories are
living and potent,
reminders of our
humanity and our pain.

Long ago now (if ever), once upon a dream,
I was saved by a deity – lovely, serene.
Circumstances were dire, I am telling the truth:
I was down under water, caught in vines, couldn’t move.
It reached out to me, then, from the depths underneath,
Pulled me up to the surface; I struggled to breathe.

With a song it has lulled me,
Of my safety assured me.

Years by, haven’t once I remembered the vision.
Not until our sudden (or fated?) collision.
When I look in your eyes of warm hazel, I hear
Softest voice from the memory – ethereal, dear.
Are you possibly someone I’ve once only seen,
Long ago now (if ever), once upon a dream?
about that deja vu moment

She made me say it.
I looked at her every day,
Learning her deepest secrets,
And wildest dreams,
And greatest talents.
I spent every waking moment with her,
Couldn’t escape her even if I tried.
She made it impossible not to say it.
She was so beautiful and whole and lively,
And everything I ever wanted.
The more attention I paid to her,
The more impossible it was to keep it in.
One day I couldn’t hold back anymore.
She made me say it.

I.
I love.
I love you.
I love you so much.
I love you so much, dear.
I love you so much, dear self.

Fireworks are real
One day your heart so full of
True love for someone

Brighter than I thought
You lit up my life
Gave me confidence
I wouldn't be alone forever
Not everyone was judgmental

I don't know why I love you
But sometimes that's all that's needed
I've read somewhere that you know its real
When you can't explain why you love someone

I could never express my full feelings
There's just too much happening
My heart is a mess trying to figure it out
The twist and pull can only be called love

This may come across as cheesy
But I'm not sure how else to express this

It's like my world was in ruin and everything reversed
Falling in place
With you at the very center

This is the reason
I call you this
The very center
My sun
My sunshine
I wanted to write something about my wonderful girlfriend. Let me know what you think.

& I found you
lying on the ground.
You welcomed me to your lips,
Finding early morning twinkle
in your eyes - Just before
the security lights on the house
are cut off.
Shortly before we are interrupted
by the footprints of muddy boots
& soft sole shoes finding their way
into the light.
I found you on the ground &
laid beside you,
My lips melting into yours
Just beneath the sun.
I closed my eyes and fell into you
Hiding myself deep within your reach.
No longer naive to the definition of
forever.
Promise me that you won't leave
at least until tomorrow morning.
My loving arms wrapped around you
until the sun tells me that it's time
to go
