these lungs, i breathe
like these legs that i may move
arms to wave with & ****
and a mouth to make sounds
soon shall all rot
my body dissipate
when maggots feed from my flesh
and the soft tissue break down

but do i go on?

We decided to build a house
Made from glass dreams and ceilings of too high expectations
Laughter and secrets coated the walls
And dance parties lasted all night long.

But a storm came
With insecure winds and alcoholic rain,
And shattered the glass house.

I desperately collected the broken pieces
Slicing my hands and cutting my heart
Making my skin burn as I tried to mend the broken parts.

Worn out bandages and glue well past the expiration date
Were never going to fix this pile of glass
Though I never stopped trying
Til I noticed you had rocks in your hand
With no intention of ever putting them down.

So I let go of the glass
That forever marked my skin
And I walked away from the mess you made
Remembering to never
Build a house made of glass
Ever again.
eh... haven't written in awhile and decided to take a swing at it.

Please---
shelve my wounded pride
and without flowers
with no mention or memoriam
bury me alive.

I walked into that room and saw you’re body lying there,
I barely recognized you; lacking life, muscle and hair.
I looked into your open eyes like I never did before,
and spoke looking at your face instead of averting gaze to floor.
If they asked me to identify or claim, I can’t say that I could,
I never truly knew you or felt the connection that I should.
You were given the curse of cancer,
but gifted the knowledge and time,
but did you ever even think that the answer
could be to reach out your hand to mine?
I had so much I never said,
maybe you had the same.
I’ll remain running the sentences in my head,
but never question if I should feel blame.
For a child to not know a parent is easy as night and day,
as much as I should’ve known you, you should’ve known me the same way.
Now my sister and I are the only ones here,
the only ones with your name and blood,
and it shouldn’t even be a question or fear
if we were ever truly loved.

Death,the end of life
Is it the end , i doubt
It's the eternal truth
that can not be denied
that can not be avoided
Death, where we all end up underneath some sheet
Death,the never-ending sleep
Death , it's peaceful
Death, where your soul leaves your body
And ascends to a higher reality
Death, it's the end of an identity
What remains behind it
Just Remains the reminisce
Remains the memories
Remains a cold soulless body
A body that will rot away  or turn into ashes
soul that disappears in a split of a second and finds the path of eternity
The soul that is eternal
Leaves behind the reminisce of the past
The person who used to be someone's parent , child , lover or friend doesn't exist anymore
They are just a memory now/
In a split of a second...
Death , it's a path to an endless road of rediscovery
Death , a path towards reincarnation
The beginning of a new journey
death,it means just leaving the stage long enough to change costume and come back as a new character
Death,the next great adventure
Another journey of mortality
It's not the ending, it's the beginning of a  new journey
An endless journey between mortality and immortality.

Selfish, you share no emotion with me
Yet greedy you take all of mine
And though one might think it,
Love’s not like the ocean
And sadly we’re now out of time.

You’re driving.
The roads are autumn lined
And the windows down
Because it’s warmer today.
A hand making shapes in the breeze
And the trees are
Finished
In a  blur of crimson gold
And Neil young is singing
About a man who is old.
I still want those cowboy boots
Finally
I look up but you frown, avoid my gaze
And drive past the tack shop again!
Castles being set ablaze
Endings aren’t just for rainy days.
