Have you ever been imprisoned by your thoughts and admiration?
yelling out that you want to be free from this suffocation

You're a prisoner by all means, your heart has abandoned you to the court, and your mind a witness to all the things you've done

Then, you found a key; the answer to moving on but it couldn't fit the locked door

So you tried the best to escape but all routes has failed. There's only one way to fix this, is if you've let yourself to be not guilty of your crimes

Just prove you were innocent but what can we do? we are all pros at heartbreaks

Court Day

So sullenly he sneers and slouches there
Behind a menu that he will not read
His mother smiles apologetically
And orders milk and cereal for him

He sulks beneath his franchise baseball cap
And grunts into a little plastic box
Then shoves it back into his pressed knee-pants
His mother smiles apologetically
                                                             tips apologetically
                                                             pays apologetically

The waitress with her chalice takes communion ‘round
Refills the cups at each creaky table
Newspaper stories, what is this world coming to,
Bacon and eggs, toast, orange juice, refills, life

Beyond the misted glass the old court house
Begins to take the early morning light
Like an old man taking his first cup of the day
Having another go at civilization

A rural Thomas More parks his old truck
This Chaucerian sergeant of the law
Will plead the usual catalogue of not-his-faults
The lad will smirk and feign apologies

The creaky tables of the ancient laws
To be served with irrelevant custom
The lad demands change for the Coke machine
His mother yields
                                 Apologetically.
A gob of squash
in a saucer with a hub
let a carrefour marque
with an apple ding
in swirls of romance heading there
a crowd of superfluousness as a hip is king
and a patch through the field
that roll lushly on green for this round mesh
while exquisitness hit so sweet
in a shade of sky
where ablaze in silky attire
with her brazen desire again.

I have no choice
But to put you on trial
Cuz you claim
You're innocent
Until proven guilty
But with all the evidence
I've collected
I'm positive that it was you
Who committed the crime against me

I'm sick of all your twisted lies
The disgusting humor
That this was all one big accident
Saying that in reality
You didn't mean to break me--
Only to leave me bent

The defense says
You were just messing around
That you didn't mean to take
What you stole
But I
-the prosecution-
Say that's *******
Cuz I know you seek control

So now it's time
For your verdict
Take your seats
They're about to start…

HA!
The jury says you're guilty
So it's indeed true
That you stole my heart.
Spoiler: its guilty lol

Drag me around knowing full well
I cannot resist you.
Leave a trail of breadcrumbs
or promises of love to see how far I'll walk
behind your chariot,
while I idolize your crown
and make excuses for your sins.

He is torn
between two royals,
blue blood, pretty eyes.

One is his master, his King.
The other holds his heart captive,
greedy, greedy.

She is porcelain skin, ****** hair.
Her mouth is a wicked creature,
poison her weapon of choice
(And how she has poisoned him)

She lusts for the throne
He thwarts her at every turn

Its a strange game,
tearing each other apart
does this remind you of merlin?

Piles of papers glaring at me.
Signed, stamped, copied, for time and a fee.
Words and no promises, on the bark of a tree.
While you're somewhere else rapidly growing.

Days pass, we punch clocks, adding the time.
As the papers, they sit in the back of my mind.
She thinks wanting to see you is none but a crime.
While you're somewhere else distantly dreaming.

All the jabber and frenzy of what's wrong and right,
While no one observes our rigorous plight,
The lack of your presence haunts him at night.
While you're somewhere else sharing your laughter.

Your room is filled with your toys and your smiles,
Waiting for you to play in it awhile.
Waging war with the enemy goes on for miles.
While you're somewhere else slowly forgetting.

To say sadness is present does not quite explain.
All the stress, anger, longing inside of his brain.
Constantly trying to distract from the pain.
While you're with those who want to restrain you.

I believe there is good in the hearts of the wise,
Yet, some will use pawns to harvest the lies.
While the ones they need dearly are hung out to dry.
While you're somewhere else coloring pictures.

In the end, we will see you again and again.
No matter how many papers or strokes of a pen.
We love you, bubba, and we WON'T give in.
Cause you're somewhere else, incomplete.

There was once a smart girl,
Who never experienced of being inlove.
Then suddenly she met this boy,
That brought her heart some joy.

One day the boy confessed,
He'll court the girl with his very best.
She began to wonder,
Is this the start of something better?

She never knew she will feel this way,
Because all she ever done is study all day.
She always say that love can wait,
But I guess cupid struck her and gave her faith.
