Rubayiat Al Thurab (Verses of the Dust) – 35

BismillahIr RahmanIr Raheem

Oh my Creator! As I am the sacred dust,

I am the key part of all visible and invisible cosmos,

Glittering stars and all your divine creation,

But none, can’t be properly formed without your eternal light!

Allah Khair….. Khairul Rabul Alameen Yah Arrahmanur Yah Raheem

Rubayiat Al Thurab (Verses of the Dust)
Mitch Prax Feb 2019
Love me on the Moon
without Earth's borders
drawn between us
or it's gravity weighing
us down.
We'll dance among the stars
and forget our Earthly scars.
Mitch Prax Feb 2019
My mistake was
believing you were
the only star in this
vast but lonely universe.
You were all I had,
all I wanted,
and I forgot that
there's a billion other stars
that could have shined for me.

i still ache from missing you.
the shape your mouth made
when you were unsure.
the blueness of your eyes
taking my breath away
each time they found mine.
you were beautiful like a natural disaster,
devastating but captivating.

our time was fleeting
but felt like an eternity.
as if each star in the cosmos aligned
to enable us to share
those twilight moments.
your teeth on my neck.
your warm breath in my ear.
our pleasures will never
be understood, only feared.
worshipping each other in the darkness
like pilgrims searching for god.
you were all i wanted to know,
happily spending forever locked
under soft duvets, sweat trickling
down the arch of your back
on those summer nights.

i miss the heaviness of your body
as you finally gave in to sleep,
knowing i'd chase away
those demons that controlled your dreams.
i still feel your hands in mine
like a phantom limb
soft but definitely writers hands,
creating beauty so naturally
the words would catch in my throat.

haunted by all i never said;

darling stay here please,
my heart beats for you alone
i can't bare to face the dark.
don't forget me.
they told me
my father died quietly
in his sleep
at 2 a.m.

with his pain-ridden last years
I think he was not unhappy
to go farther for once
return to the cosmos he came from
wake up painless
     at peace
floating in the universe
he had admired from mountain peaks
all of his life

Every time
I tell myself
not to love you,
it feels like the entire universe
is fighting back against me.

Billion brilliant stars,
My neurons are having fun;
At cosmos’s expense!
Felicia Branch Jan 2019
Seductively awestruck.
Aligned colorful chakras.
A cosmic creation.
Third eye realizations.

Calm, collective, and cool.
Reveal the sensual parts of you.
Peace is the only thing I seek.
Protecting my many energies.

Sage the negativity away.
Seize the adventure in every day.
Accept that life can be messy and hard.
Embrace the beautiful soul that you are.

Come carry me on velvet wings
High above a crown of ancient trees
Want to reach a place where the angel sings
In a voice so sweet and pure, it brings me to my knees
Come sit me down on a feather cloud
As white tail doves and nightingales dance
To a musical harmony of golden trumpets, loud
See how I sway and twirl in a joyful trance
Come see how high I will fly
Stars twinkle in a celestial welcome
And I can feel the whole of the galaxy glorify
In this cosmos, what an amazing, heavenly kingdom
