Falling in love
is like holding your breath,
you will constantly ache
but you're afraid to let go of the way
her hair smells of lavender and spring.

Falling in love
is like bursting into flames,
you will perpetually burn
but you're scared you'll forget
the warmth of his chest when he holds you.

Falling in love
is like taking the first flight,
you will struggle, you will stumble,
you will fall,
but once you taste the clouds
and dance with the breeze,
you are limitless.

the air is heavy
with an unspoken desire
for his tanned skin
upon hers
a shady block
of warm breeze,
a dusty corner
and her back against it
- heaven.

gentle kisses that tasted like summer
now dot her memory
along with flashes of squinting
liquid honey coloured eyes
framed within lashes
that remind her of the sort of thing she'd like want to feel fluttering against her shoulder
first thing
on a sunny sunday morning;
a nose that she'd like to have nuzzled against the crook of her neck

all swatches of filtered sunlight
and unfamiliar hands
soft lips and hurried goodbyes
- imprints of a translucent yellow
The silky breeze

worships the old pine trees

and sun gently caresses

the sea ripples.

The first few drops
Fell on my face
As I was speeding on my bike
The sky still looked almost clear
And there was not much signs
of an impending rain..

Then there was a breeze
Cold and refreshing..
The sun hid itself behind the clouds
The dust on the path flew up twirling..

The breeze got stronger
The leaves of the trees on
Both sides of my path started dancing faster..
There was a sudden flight of a pack of birds
There was few more rain drops and this time hitting stronger

Then all of a sudden,
The wind got stronger
The  droplets fell thick and heavy
The intoxicating smell of the first rain
Hitting the loose earth below
Pierced my nose and all my senses

I slowed down my bike to catch
All the smells, the droplets, the cold wind
The flying leaves,
The chirping of the birds,
The growing darkness..
The fragrance of the first summer rain...

The rain lashed heavily
Blinding my eyes,
Water dripped down by dress
Sending the cold chill through my spine..
Refreshing and Energising at the same time

The road became clean
With the run off..
The ensuing scenery became greener
Little streams formed and giggled
Down the drains...

I slowly cycled forward
Not caring to take a shelter
For I cherished to be wet
In the summer rain..
Which was bringing back
Nostalgic memories
Of childhood..
The song of the rain lingering
And the bike seemed to like the rain
As its master who floated
With the rain...
Immersed in the music of the rain..

Frost makes its way from beyond the azure blue,
snow falls as fast as it will please,
passing through a cold winter breeze.

The clouds shift to a form the world anew,
never learning how to fly,
white sparkles float down from the sky.

I stare at the night sphere to search for what is true,
pure ice shows how a person can be,
as the winds wail in currents freely as the sea.
Old poem of mine. Found it the other day.

ugly men on the way back from work

watch the summer dress and the small body within

walk with the breeze down the steps,

down from the station while

the trains pull away,

their carriages carrying the sea and the low-tide estuaries'

breath within them

and they watch the dress and the body and the breeze

cross the road into

the sun swallowed supermarkets

and the ugly men walk home

beneath retired balconies

and the slow

beginnings of evenings.

You knew all my steps,
you knew in the tip of your tongue all the shades of my reflex,
but you forgot
that my time rolled
in a different rhythm of the sea wind.

You have called the breeze thinking it was the wind
and my steps fade on the currents.
You have mistaken all you thought
in your imaginary of me
and I, for moments, was named Love!

I am the combination of the words
that you called me
and, in the end, I am the void that silence had left.

Every single day I remember
the taste of your smile,
but I am what silence determined.

Slow down and
Wind back to find your
Core, for
Youth is the salvation
And death is the solution—
Look back at who you couldn’t love
In those careless years
And find me
Hanging in the summer breeze
Like a dandelion
Grown long, but left untouched
Because of your gentle perfection.
You have the hands of God
To all but yourself, yet
I don’t deserve someone as perfect as you
If I can’t deserve myself.
The ugliness in our minds
Bind and mingle,
But you can’t expect me
To stay single long—
I’ll be long gone
Discovering myself on a
Broken road
Somewhere distant and cold;
So please,
Darling,
Lover of the summer wind:

Catch me
Before I do.

i stuck my finger in her clouds

she roared my hydration, said i was impatient

now i lick her leaves, bit of left over water beads

solar condensation, giggled saturation

i clasped her trunk, fingerprints sunk

*she says ive got her bark drunk
