Be brave,
Be strong-
Be humble,
Be proud;
Be like a lion.
Just wanna cheer you up!

In my dream last night
I was blunt and brave
I have my own voice
In my dream last night
I wasn't afraid to stand alone
And made my own decisions
In my dream last night
I was a puppet who finally cut free
From the strings controlling my behaviour
And have my own muscles
In my dream last night
I have my own capitalized 'I'

Dear,
   Everyone
Who ever mocked me
Who ever looked down
Who ever made fun of me
Who ever made me cry

The tears I shed
Were not in your name
They were from my own blame
You never owned anything

I know you see it
How strong I really am
I'm quiet and afraid
But really you're amazed

I've battled wars you'll never know
Blood and guts unimaginable
You only see the wounds
Yet you're still afraid

Call me weak
Call me pathetic
Call me what you may
It won't stay

I am so brave
Knock me down
I'll fall so very far
But I'll get up so very tall

You're weak
You're stupid
You're pathetic
Above all, you're afraid

Don't pin that on me
I didn't ruin your destiny
You can't taint my soul
I'll still be nice but I won't
Be nobody's fool

Dear, everyone
      You will never break me
       So ******* *** I'll live beautifully

When I was 17
I wanted to be just like it.
A girl of the heedless, of a twisted wind
And lashing overstory.
Bold in choice eyes burning gallant
When I stood not alone
On screaming nights
In crowded habitation

Writing my future’s
Threatening tumult
Apart from regularity
Prerogative, accompanying grail
Withered leaves of change.
Left with nothing more,
But to turn them over.

If he told you he loved you,
How would he say it?

Would he be bold?
And look you in the eye?
Would he yell the words
You've been dying to hear?

Would he wait for you to say them first?
Cause he's as scared of rejection
as you're scared of commitment?

Or would he listen
To your funny stories
And let it slip in
Like it was a common truth
You both already knew?

Maybe he'd write you a note
Professing his love
With two tiny boxes at the bottom of the page.
One to say yes.
The other to say hell yes.
As you wonder giggling how many unfinished letters lay in his bin in the corner of his room.

Perhaps he'd never tell you.
But he'd show you.
With crooked smiles
And warm jackets
With your favorite desserts
And failed kitchen mishaps.
Maybe he'd randomly boop you on the nose
And tickle your chin
Cos he's still learning of ways to show you
He means those words
He never said.
Hey guys, I hope you like this one. If you feeling brave, maybe tell us how your loved one told you .

tonight, let's dance
like daffodils in a hurricane
beautiful
flying
braving the gusts
of winds
that threaten
to tear us
apart

learnt how to take flight
