Just as heroes spend a lifetime dancing with the thing  the fear most ,
A noble death,
I dance with the idea of falling in love.
To have it is something I just might be ready for. You can never be sure

Today I'm going to act like I got enough sleep
I won't apologize for who I am
Or follow meekly like a sheep

Today I'm going to live up to my claim
Of being ever the optimist
And look at the world through a new frame

Today and from now on I refuse to dwell on the past
Because while the bad times may come
The bad times never last

Today I'm going to reignite my passion
And get down to business
In a determined fashion

I will no longer be a slave to my bed
Today I'm going to get up and
Try to quiet the nagging voice in my head

Today is different
This change is deliberate
And not insignificant
A new beginning for a new day

The truth is unfathomable,
to the wise man,
as colour can not be fathomed,
by the blind.
As his eyes are familiar with the darkness,
the thinker is still bound by time.

Dara.
Soon it'll be easier
And the tide will pull me in
Retracting me from your shore
Wiping away memories set in sand
Every kingdom must fall even though they take so long to build
Etiquette and mannerisms lost over night
I wish I was built of sterna stuff
Because not coming back is the hardest thing I've ever known
Knowing that we keep changing our mind
Everything my hand breaches the surface
Or everytime I open my eyes wishing you where here
Scrambling for rocks and relic's and any fragment of time
But I know it's better to let These things die
Something new can be built from the ruins.

The first spring sun.

A sign of a new beginning.

The earth, cleansed from last year.

New hopes and dreams that follows by seeing the ground clear.

The excitement of creating new memories hearing the birds once again.

Finding new songs I know I'll dance to all summer.

Imagining the smell of a fresh tan, from a day in the sun.

The feeling of being alive, cleansed from last year.

In a moment as brief as an intake of breath,
We broke. Whatever capacity or state of being
We held ourselves in, has shattered
I see you cracked on the floor, I cut
My soles on your pieces.

My vision for you, snipped clean
Set off with the wind to an unknown fate,
I would have given you the air to float
Wherever you wanted to go.

But no, that wasn’t in our cards.
Despite the intricacy of our weaving threads,
We no longer cross over one another.
George Krokos Mar 2018
Time and space have no beginning or end
except in God Who them both does extend.
That Reality is the source of each of these things
and also to every creature life and death brings.
