Tomorrow’s sausage rolled along the road
And just beyond my hasty, tasty want for a drink.

Amidst giggle and sigh, my cohorts,
my companions and others
Muddle the horror, or meal at ends, most likely

Come this little pigs jump from the truck
Leading butcher.

In silence, I admire the –

Entrails on the highway;  jump opposed shank,
Surpassing my seventh mile for a
Seventh heaven,
Leaving me simply seconds prior Shenzhen.

Sure, little piggy’d never made it,
To the market, to the feast of it all,
But he’d met his end, and on his own terms.

He’d met his end and frolicked upon the
Fields lacking pans and bacon grease,
In opposition the role, the role we force, enforce
And devour time and again;

In silence, I admired the escape.
*Note - Moments on the highway to Shenzhen.
vegetarians rock

we don't derive satisfaction
in skewered meat, spit kebab, meat buffet or a banquet
we are told of how much we are lacking in nutrition and protein
we don't mind to eat tempeh, tofu, lentils, eggs, diary or skewered vegetables
we are vegetarians of family preference, religious reasons, animal rights or health issues

researches found that your love takes twice more
requires so much energy to digest
more energy less fatigue and stress
to live long without stroke, heart attack, high blood pressure or diseases of kind
well I'm not cynical, eat small pieces

just because we don't hear
just because we don't see
doesn't mean it's not there
the pain these creatures we domain over feel
heartless humans without hearts to feel
maybe we open blind eyes
maybe we turn deaf ears
to them
but I tell you it's there

we hear and
we see
we are different from you
we are different from the ways of the world
we love it
we are vegetarians and
we rock!
it is safer a vegetarian life style to a disease-full life

I created the tools.

I carved the stone and strung the bow.

I tracked the animal’s prints

across fresh snow.

I took careful aim,

steady, steady,

and then let go.

I brought you meat,

the liver & the heart,

and yet you

feast on

crumbs.
Featured along with other fine poems in my poetry collection, "Witch", available on Amazon or through Lulu.

I'm sorry I ever tried to help anyone.
I'm a tragic loser at best. I'm a mess.
I won't even try, I won't ruin your lives
Anymore, an*  *animal,  **I can never be set free,
I'm not anything, and not even close to
Anyone you need.

my mind is not mine I cannot see
I’m held within a cage of lost liberty
my days are not my own
them seem to be controlled
by people far too wealthy I'm told

my nights are filled with dreams
that warn of time fleeting
of heart ripped and torn
a body that longs to dance airborne
and move to express itself
with no one to approve or ignore

I look with admiration
at dolphins presentation
of joyous jumps and gleeful communication
and see their lives free of limitation
as a talisman of my renunciation

with closed eyes I lie still
and look behind to see all that fills
alone and all one
my chains are broken
and on the cliff edge
I jump
to be awoken
Just a note: I'm not going to throw myself off a cliff edge, my partner thought this was literal, no it's of course metaphorical ;-) trust the unknown....

The grey fox barks
every evening, echoing
the perimeter of its
territory.

The red fox cozies up
next to the brook house
making a friend with the
inhabitant inside.

The black bear sits
its frumpy *** on the
porch of a new homestead.

The trees bend towards the
Earth. Reminding each creature
of its transient position.

dear c

forgive me
for forcibly making you
climb the trunk of a coconut tree,

testing how your kind
fall from a height and
still land on four feet,

clasp palms over eyes,
watch you walk backwards
comically, tentatively,

for pinning that
batch to your tail,
with the legend,
"Stop not, cease not,
until the goal is reached."
...you going round the
dining table to
sister's screams,

cutting off your whiskers
to the shortest length,
just to see what we get,

I know in cat heaven,
they are sentencing
me to a cat body,
and you as my human
master, circle of life...

do remember,
the daily fish feast,
lick-lick-ety milk,
head brushing,
under chin rubs,
soft fur combing,
sleep pat-purr,

do consider,
that I was a kid,
a storm burst
in my head,
as tingled as a
cat on a cat hunt...
