theres a law stating matter cannot be created nor destroyed
heartbreak is the same

the process of collecting hearts to mend your own is as old as time
heartbreak isn't created

just passed from person to person

We don’t see the carrots to be cut,
We see the sharp knife that could cut us.

We don’t see the bridge,
We see the other side of the railings.

We don’t see painkillers,
We see medication we could drown ourselves in.

We don’t see the train,
We see the tracks we could lay on.

We don’t see the nice view,
We see the cliff's edge we could jump off.

Black as the cat
Scratching
Ripe as the egg
Hatching
Fierce as the waves
Crashing
Bent as the switch
Lashing
Is my love

Whenever someone
compares you to poetry,
be sure
you'll never
let them go.

If poetry is a way
of survival,
then
they'll never be able
to spend
any other day
without you.

Cause in the end. words are just words. The devil could read the bible out loud and the saints would cover their ears.  God could preach about heIl and the sinners will make fun of him. Words are just words. Some letters in order.
