Once in my life I have shown my face
Then regretted afterwards.
I trusted.
I failed.
And promised I won’t be the same.

Once in my life I have worn my veil
That covers my facade
I pretended
I hid
And I became contented being a shadow.

Once in my life I lost my strength
And learned how to become weak.
But I heard my inner voice
I saw myself in the mirror
And I was awakened.

Once again, I am going to show my face
I want to try
I want to believe
That I’ll be in peace without my veil
Once more...
Unveiling myself...

r
Sorrow is a lonesome river,
she feeds a deep blue sea.
She'll take all the tears you give her;
open the gates and set her free.

When it rains in Georgia,
it's flooding sacred ground.
From Augusta to Savannah,
that's holy water coming down.

Lift your chin up off your chest,
raise your eyes up to the sky.
The flood has reached its crest,
let the warm sun sanctify.

Sorrow is a lonesome river,
she feeds a deep blue sea.
She'll take all the tears you give her;
open the gates and set her free.

The beauty sleeps
In to the silent night
Secret desires and dreams
And the faint smile
Next to her, the sleepless lover
Waiting to invade her dreams*

I have never feared
the silence of alone,
and I am not;
comforted now by,
the fast laughter of
children in the streets below,
the rhythmic hum of a
wild beasts' idle release,
as it tamely lays
within my thought;
A broken seal reveals
the birds beyond this proper cage;
and the fighting limbs,
searching for the heart of light
between the trees;
I am not alone.
I have hands
pressing my thighs at night;
I have a remainder
inside left to breathe,
till bodies cannot contain a mold;
I am not alone as
this condition crowds
around a boundless
sadness;
I am not alone;
till there is you;
and the fear lets free, and bounded birds are clearly seen,
as failing latches struggle to give and release. and
the sun.
the sun sighs for its last collide
and I am almost lost inside someone else's thought;
yet,
I am not alone,
as we press our eyes
against this page
and pretend that,
beyond this thought, that
I am not alone.
Passion blossoms into a flower
Spreading its alluring fragrance
The wind is the messenger
Carrying the invitation of Love*

From your love fountain
You offered the charmed drink
Only to be intoxicated
As I slowly drown in you

Music is inspired from Nature
If you listen carefully
Attuned to nature and in harmony
There is music in the rains
The flowing creeks and rivers
All the birds’ chirping
Even the thunderstorms have music
The swish of the wind and sway of leaves
The droplets of dew falling
A resonance in drone of bees
And the animal’s mating signals
The cry of a newborn mammal
And the call of the dolphins
The sea waves and the sound waves
Even the tectonic shifts have music
All the acoustics are there in nature
Even the trees have a language of their own
To communicate through the winds
The whole ecosystem is filled with music
The universe and the planets send out signals
At regular intervals, which we may not hear
If you want to hear unadulterated music
Come closer to nature, and keep your ears open
The musicians are all around us to regale us
So, just be at peace and try to enjoy the music
For the party has not yet begun
As, we are not yet aware of Nature’s music

Oblivious of the surrounding darkness
The fireflies light up, to dispel it
Dancing around in complete ecstasy
Penetrating through the obscurity
The fireflies have defeated the night
As if stars have descended on Earth
Waking us from a slumber, to join the party*

Rolling out from deepest corner of the heart
It tells us about unspoken emotions
Breaching the dams, to swell out
Gushing out with the untold story
Cleansing the soul with each passing waves
As feelings of sorrow have no spoken language
Swelling up in the eyes, which remained idle for years*

Just a thought on why we cry. Sometimes if could be because of grief and sometimes from feelings of happiness and love. Here, I captured the essence of tears in moments of grief.
