A mother ignoring the cry of her baby.
A wife in a mans gear.
Heavy pan of pain, ignored to the smile from the smell of a paper.
Respect lost, control in hands of currency weight.

A lonely woman
With no dream or ambition.
The gift of child birth ,
Now the token of burden and regret.

Love painted in hate.
Smile cloaked in anger.
Subject to his satisfaction at night
Bearer of his weakness in the day

A girl deceived by love
now a mother stretched to the core
The love for lust
Backwashed in a pain that last

Memories are a reflection of the present
Caged by the decision to love
Chained to his lax
Hope of smile ... a matter of course

In the book of fate, our pages intertwine,
Destiny’s design, a path uniquely designed,
We stand on the edge of a world unknown,
In our hearts, a connection, brightly shone.

Destiny has whispered, "You both belong,"
In the story of us, we’ll grow strong,
Yet the choice is ours, to seize this chance,
To let our love flourish, to dance our romance.

I’ll gift you attention, a love that’s so true,
Care and laughter, protection from storms we’ll pass through,
And in return, I hope you’ll simply be you,
Glowing, amazing, in everything you pursue.

Together we’ll journey, come what may,
Hand in hand, through night and day,
Our hearts as guides, our souls aligned,
In the embrace of love, forever entwined.

In this trust, we’ll find our way,
Choosing each other, come what may,
For destiny has brought us here to stay,
In love’s sweet melody, we’ll find our way.

love's enigma, I'm lost in a haze,
Confusion and longing, like an endless maze.

Falling in love, a sweet, dizzying spell,
Yet staying in love, the tale I long to tell.

Through the chaos and doubt, I still search,
Love's embrace, my heart can't resist.

I yearn for its depths, its highs and its grace,
In the dance of love, I find my place.

The struggles I had to face is something she wont go through!
No! Never! Not while I live , and definitely not under my watch.
THE CRY OF AN AFRICAN MOTHER

My daughter is a lawyer in the making.
She's intelligent, a doctor figure.
THE HOPE OF AN AFRICAN FATHER

Study hard baby
You'll take care of your sibling someday
and build us a better home.
THE PRAYER OF AN AFRICAN PARENT
......................................................................................................................................................................
Your good intent overshadowed by your failures and inabilities.
Genuine goodwill expressed in a confusing web of past decisions
Your way out shackles me to a prison wall painted in your dreams and wishes

I open my eyes to two options,
the wall of desolation and
the gateway of disrespect and ungratefulness .

I'd love to stay in these chains
enjoy the discomfort of your comfort.
but i cant!
I have a life to live
a destiny to realize

I cant live your dream
all the night you had to cry at nature's unfair gift of failure
could have turned to smiles and pride.
With the weapon of childbirth
You were assured a sweet revenge on nature

but the truth is...
all you have is an opportunity to be you
I'd love to be the doctor you long for.
**** to be a lawyer just to satisfy your thirst

but....
What difference would it make
I get to be the doctor.... not you
I wear the wig ...... not you
You'd still be a slave to nature
and me, a prisoner to the horror of your past.

I cant live your dream
tho i dream of living the future you've planned for me,
all i wake up to is a pillow, a ***** sheet and REALITY!

I choose the gateway of disrespect
carrying along the tag of an ungrateful son
battling nature to the realization of my dreams
while staring at the Right to a wig and a stethoscope on the wall.

Hanging between those crafty wooden frame
is your key to vengeance
to me,
the crown of a wasted years chasing after your dream.

Sorry mom --- Sorry dad
I cant live your dream.

Sleep and wake in fear
Spirits cause everything
Consultations and exultation to a deaf God
Fast and pray lest you fail
God is hardest to please
God is dead to us
We buried him in ignorance

False prophets - our ancestors danced with them
False prophets - our parents fell victim
False prophets - we are enslaved

I see this
I see that
Our demons never fight
The salt and oil we douse at midnight
They protect us

False prophets- we listened
False prophets- we believed
False prophets- we are enslaved

Wives hide nakedness from husbands
Strip from cloth to thought for them
Faith overburdened with naivety
Knowledge that redeems,
Lost to teachings of captivity and unrighteousness

False prophets - our ancestors danced with them
False prophets - our parents fell victim
False prophets - we are enslaved

The greed that keeps them afloat
Sinks our soul and glory in muddy waters
Shame only comes at the end
The end comes at our loss
We fear those we should love and love those we should fear

False prophets!

In our journey’s garden, diverse and bright,
We bloomed like flowers, in love’s twilight.
Roses of desire, crimson and bold,
Passion unfurled, a tale untold.

Amidst the roses, a fiery dance,
Love’s flames ignited, a vibrant trance.
Tulips of fervor, colors enhance,
In love’s garden, a passionate expanse.

Lilies of purity, a tender grace,
Amidst the fervor, a gentle embrace.
Daisies of innocence, love’s chase,
In the garden’s tapestry, a perfect place.

Each petal a moment, a secret shared,
A garden of love, wildly flared.
Irises of dreams, in love declared,
In this floral garden, our hearts repaired.

As the blooms unfurled, passion’s spree,
Anemones of love, wild and free.
In the garden’s embrace, you and me,
Different flowers, our love’s decree.

In this garden of varied hue,
Our love blossomed, vibrant and true.
Different flowers, a love anew,
In this garden of passion, me and you.

Shrewd enough to pick a purse
To feed a mouth sheltered under a rain of curse.

Empty bottles and opponent as partners
The fruit of a faint love
Now mine to pick.

Sleep and wake to the sour taste of poverty
Cure in the heart of men that walk the street

Too good to smile at the tartered shirt
Too quick to point our direction

Too heavy a baggage to carry
Too light the burden I offload

Ran back to my sheltered nest
Broken bottles and a red eyed woman
From whence I came
To this world of pain

Opponents as partners
The tattered shelter nature spared us

A smile on the little ones
My motivation to attract a pointing finger

My tatttered shelter - Opponents as partners.
There is pain on the street... a smile can save a soul

Chained to good morals
a people lost on the journey to freedom

Foresight enslaved to greed
who reaches first- a prevalent goal

Radical Leadership
a matter of course

Foresight enslaved to greed
evidence in the body parts traded for power

A country crippled by peace
a people enslaved by oppression

Manipulative dependence
just plant, taxes will fertilize

Wake up to the voices of the clever
We sit by our luggage before a dead sea
deceived by the same people we gave seat

A generation paying for the sins of our fathers
shackled to the failures of our forefathers

We thumb print
signing our destinies over to fake prophets

Radical leadership
a matter of course

However long the night, the sun always rises.

Lying helplessly in grace
Beauty buried in clouded thoughts

Stunning resplendency glowing in a thick fog
Eyes are the window to love
Character glues the hinges

Love me, love me your heart screams
Fear triumph in joy

The answer is the problem
Fake is real
Real is false

Lucky bird tweeting in the dark
Find solace in the echo

Some answered the call and fell
Hold on to your guns and hope

Till another echo reaches you
Lucky bird in the dark.

Within the hospital's walls so stark and green,
A chance encounter changed my life's course
A graceful presence, a beauty shining bright,
My heart stirred with the possibility, a guiding light.

I asked for her number, met with a gentle plea,
Workplace boundaries, a reason to let be,
At two o'clock, a chance for our hearts to see,
What lies beneath the surface, a possibility.

A mention of reluctance in our brief chat,
She claimed not to seek love, but how about that?
Perhaps in her silence, there's a welcome mat,
To explore the nuances, where hearts are at.

With hopeful steps, I'll return in time,
To read between the lines in this silent rhyme,
Unraveling secrets, hidden beneath the grime,
In the subtle dance of fate, so sublime.

Patience
Things change, pain subsides

Patience
Memories fade, the future spares

Patience
Thought unsaid, screams through your scowl

Take my love and trade your pain.

At the mercy of your smile
My flat jokes wile

Gentle waters smile
below, waves of currents rile

The hungry smiles
Joke knows not bile

Unburden my soul
bless my spirit with a smile.

Speak with me
I understand your language
I don't speak it

Speak with me
I want to listen
I can't hear

Speak with me
I feel it
I don't have to hear

Speak with your eyes
Shout with your smile

Does the language matter?
I hear you loud and clear

Speak with me
Speak my language

Speak Joy
Speak peace
Speak love

Speak with me
I want to listen
I cant hear

Speak our language

Speak sincerity
Speak truth

I can hear you now
I understand you

I know love
Nothing else matters

The joy of losing, the pain of having
The peace in denial, the wrath of acceptance

The meaning is in the depth of confusion
Paved with pretence and bad action

How do you know when its real?
The echoes that never come to
Loud in my thought- almost in my grasp,
but never materialises

The meaning is in the depth of confusion
Thoughts unseen manifests in character felt

How do you know when your mind is playing tricks on you?
Lips express desire
Heart is non committal
The hope that promises tomorrow,
vanishes before the break of dawn

The meaning is in the depth of confusion
Light in darkness is pure truth

How do you know when its sincere?
The truth isn’t as pretty as the smiles
Shallow expressions embraced to the core
Pain in a distance- approaching at a pace controlled by guilt and shame

The meaning is in the depth of confusion
The heart is decisive

How do you know you found the one?
I want you, I don’t need you
The heart that causes pain, dies in pain
Betrayal is inevitable
Truth compromised anchors our hope

Pain lies with you in a bed of love, covered by uncertainty and indecisions
The meaning is in the depth of confusion

In the quiet of love's gentle scream,
Sacrifice and selflessness find rest.

In choices made, our hearts define,
The beauty and depth of love's design.

Yet love can be a tempest, it's true,
A storm that tests, a sky turned blue.

But when reciprocated, it's a radiant bloom,
A simple, profound, and endless boon.

That which is created and known
That which is unknown but created

The word created through Him
all that is ephemeral.

Our hearts and mind appreciate
that which our eyes behold.

The lost longs for the hidden but revealed.
The word created without Him all that is everlasting.

Visible through faith
that which is known before all but unknown after all.

Key to knowledge that surpasses is foolish to the wise
but
truth to the unshaken well within.

Under the silver moon’s soft, shimmering grace,
By a crackling bonfire’s warm embrace,
We stand together, hearts a hesitant dance,
In this night of cold, where love takes its chance.

The sea whispers secrets, ancient and wise,
In the language of waves, under starry skies,
As uncertainty lingers, our hearts do confess,
The love we both want, yet dare not caress.

But in the fire’s glow, our souls take flight,
Burning with longing, in the cold of the night,
Your eyes, like stars, in the midnight’s domain,
Draw me in closer, like a moth to the flame.

A genuine love, our hearts softly confess,
In the hush of the night, a tender finesse,
With each stolen glance, and each silent sigh,
Our attraction grows stronger, our spirits comply.

Sensible romance, in the moon’s gentle gleam,
A fragile connection, like a half-formed dream,
In the early days of love, we find our way,
Guided by moonlight, to the break of day.

So let’s embrace this moment, love so sincere,
By the bonfire’s glow, and the sea’s whispered cheer,
In the night, our love story begins to take flight,
Underneath the moon’s gaze, our hearts unite.
