metal burns skin as blood boils inside
air from lungs glazing the eyes
a dangerous perilous point of view
from a mountaintop into a valley of lies

clock in the darkness reading what cannot be read
a taste of the tongue from what cannot be said
to shiver and shake on a cold hill
on the coldest day of all
better than ever should you fall
anger depression rage hopelessness bipolar frustration hope

Smokey, hazy
feathers and fur
fine wine
in a cheap cafe
all the spells love knows
cast at once
I danced out to sea in crystal and gold
and found treasures beyond compare
Self actualization and realization change and transformation

A stationary set for my 21st birthday
going the right way since I turned wrong
one other lover than the one I've got
my head and my heart have fought
like this before

a mistake to hit the gas off the cliff with a
soul made of glass
I fell out of my mind and right back in
no way to stop from going your direction
fly butterfly on a railroad cloud
through a one way sky
my train is on to your station
in just a moments time
addiction,  self love following your intuition and guidance self development growth transformation

you, a western film
with the lights down low
beautiful to look at
while moving slow

come listen in,
and lean back
a pillow for the soul
in a campfire story

it was all I could do but to ride to town with no place to be
hoping this street would lead
through a long winter night

seasons changed,
but love remained long within
to tell a story
time and again
of an eternal flame

so hold me close,
and your skin won't feel the snow
no matter how much skin might show
that's how the best
campfire stories go
true love passion warmth trials and tribulations and lasting memories

a translator for humanity
gives a powerful speech
condolences to innocents left behind
as above the clouds
so below the stars
temperatures rising
towards a future on Mars

an advocate for change
preaches a lesson on the past
sympathies to those who stay to the last
as within a dream
so without a vision
temperatures falling
towards a perilous decision
Global warming and the sad inevitability of Earths resources running dry

love me because i'm different
rough on the outside yet sweet underneath
peel back my layers, enjoy fruits of discovery
learn with me, grow with me
little kiwi tree
If everybody's a peach she's a different kind of fruit

violet suns say I'm far away from home
rose hills are a place for everyone
see stars sink under weight of new gravity
ride the rapids over waterfalls under pomegranate cliffs into a sea of imagination and all it's gifts
