I’m easy to please, good friend of mine
It's easy when there is  nothing to do
My mind not taxed,I'm laughing, relaxed
Dark thoughts confuse me with anger and fear

I just want it to end.

The hopelessness, the fear,
the constant critic in my head:
I've lived with them all for too long.

All I've ever known is this war, this endless battle.
There's nothing wrong with wanting it to end.
To wish that it didn't is cruel.

But why can't the best solution be the simplest?
Why do I have to keep fighting?

At times it's deafening,
and I'm so exhausted.

Why can't I just lay down in no man's land
and let this battle fall silent around me?

Why can't that be the end?

Because... I'll never know what's possible.

The only reason bad people exist is because mankind tolerates it,

The only way they win is if good people do nothing.

You have the right to freely
                                    speak your mind about
                                              anything & everything you desire
                     &
No one can make you feel undeserving of it

And when all of you are tucked in,
asleep soundly in your beds.
The comforter I'd sewn,
keeping you safe like I promised,
I'll shut the door
and close my eyes to weep too.
