I'm slipping
Off the edge of a cliff
At the end of the world
Into a deep dark abyss

This drug,
It's  destroying me
It's  wrecking my life
to the point where I can hardly breathe

I thought of ecstasy
it became my addiction
And like that smoke in my lungs
it slowly burned me instead

Sometimes the forbidden drug is you.

i want to close my eyes,
pretend everything was fine,
ends up falling asleep and
waking up in another world
where you don't exist

tell me how
the most broken
beaten down
torn up
stripped to the flesh
people

could ever get back up
brush off the dirt
and carry on
like nothing ever
happened.

you feel like a coin on my lips
if I open my mouth to speak
you’ll fall in and I’ll choke

perhaps you love them to be kissed

but they are my lips

maybe I’ll learn to swallow the coin
and stop swallowing my words

    "love is war,
      i am your soldier".

i'm in pain,
     yet you never came.

you held my hand,
     and there's no spark;
     you pulled me close,
     but then you fall.

Never get fully attached
                          to a n y o n e or a n y t h i n g...

You get what you earn and deserve...
