Kind,gentle,humble,my dear daughter,
To me you are my carnation flowers.
Which sprang from ****** Mary's
tears,
For Jesus's plight of carrying the Cross. (Christian Legend).
Pious,a fairy, an angel,
Sent from the heavens up above,
The flowers of God.
Affectionate, motherly,loveable,
White and pink carnations,
Mother's Day flowers.
Strong, active and wise,
Long lasting after being cut,
Carnation blooms.
A treasure I cherish,
A perfect piece of my heart.
For my daughter whom I miss
April showers bring may flowers.
This is not a reasonable excuse for the death April has brought.
It’s not an excuse for my sister to be in so much pain.
She has lost so many people in her life this April,
And you expect me to believe May will bring her flowers?
Will it bring her flowers to the graves of the ones she’s lost?
Will the flowers bring back the ones she’s buried?

Don’t tell me April showers bring May flowers when my sister can barely live through this hell.
Wrote this back in April - finally getting around to posting it
“Stay.”

She wasn’t able to give any response. She remained silent and he started to move his hand to hold hers while the other one was holding the steering wheel.

“Stay, will you?”

She smiled widely as she let out a soft giggle. All he did was asking her to stay but it was pain that she felt. That was the only thing he asked and she did not think he’d understand a thing.

                                                       I can’t.

“Don’t go anywhere, stay.”

He did not understand anything. His hand stayed there, holding hers tight. She looked away as she slowly took a deep breath. That night, she knew exactly the meaning of ‘temporary’.

I can’t. With your hand on mine, like this, I can’t.

“Please stay. Because with you, it is enough. This is enough.”

This is enough. You are enough. She could’ve said yes to that but she hated the idea of hurting someone else, and no matter how much she wanted to stay, no matter how much she cared for him, she knew it wasn’t right.
                                                 But I have to go.

                                         Because I am temporary,

                                       and she is your permanent.
let me kiss you, while the rain
falls in your hair
drips down your face and
touches your lips
so, that everytime it rains
you think of me
let me kiss you, when you are crying and your tears
are going down your cheeks
let me kiss them
let me erase the pain and let me
make you feel Happy
so, that every time life brings you
to a dark place
you think of me as the person
who will always
be there for you and will always
help you get through
let me kiss you, at night before
going to sleep
that way when you are dreaming
you dream of me
let me kiss you, in the morning
before you wake up
my kiss will be the first thing you see when you open your eyes
that way you will see the world that
I have inside me
let me kiss your beautiful lips that way I can bring you
to our beautiful place where
you are my queen
that place where nobody else lives, please
let me kiss you, to be sure
this is not just a dream
Some times
I think about how
The word
Alphabet
Means Alpha
And Beta
And how that
Implies a
....
Like the
Alphabet
Doesn't really
Ever end
So now the
Letter Z
Raises questions
In my brain
And I wonder
What comes
After it
That is why
I cannot
Sleep.
Love is a choice
It’s not a never ending releasing of butterflies drowning out the doubts in the stomach
It’s the ability to put aside the “I know I’m right”
For the; “we mean more than being right”
It’s the willingness to wake up
After the frigid night before
The conscious decision to be the first to reach out
A testing hand touch of “Are you still mad?”
Fingertips as light as a fox hunting in snow
One hands replying squeeze of “its already forgotten”
The other pulling me tighter
The frost thawing beneath your heat
They'll think I'm crazy for this,
But I'm certain they already do
You're not here yet,
But I'm confident someday in the future
The world sure is gonna welcome you

You'll be bright
A shining star
With a head full of curls
Always setting the bar

You'll be kind
Looking out for others
With a smile
Patient, like a Southerner

You'll be humble
A skilled listener
With arms open
For any visitor

You'll be witty
Eliciting laughter from many
With joy as your purpose
And remarkably friendly

You'll be loving
Deeply, so deeply
With a heart
Crafted ever uniquely

You're not here yet,
But someday we'll meet
For now, you'll remain in my heart
As I count its beats

Until I witness these words
Of all that you'll be
I know of their truth
Because you'll inherit them from me

a breath of fresh air
tickles still-waters
a lone swan's quill
let fall, takes flight
  carpe  diem ―
nigh weightless,
buoyantly skitters
across the water,
laissez faire;
barely dimpling
the shallow peace
on a lake in the wood

a wild feather's
mindless pirouettes
emanate from
the steeping silence
lapping  its
superficial  refection

the true nature
of wildness,
unspoken freedom,
an untamed
wilder – ness
skims the skinny waters
seeking their own level;
leaving no trace
of  ever being  containable

like a breath of fresh air
reinvigorates
unconquerable souls
touching in the
conscious moment ―
a gentle passing breeze
arousing a rogue gust
