His beauty brought attention
to even the prettiest of skies
His heart so full of passion,
even the fruit can't compare
His love in those crystal eyes,
even the water paled
But his color started to fade
The fall took what it could
His silence beckoned storms,
even across the seas
His hands of stone crushed
my spoiled heart-
He became
no longer in use
And so he left, along with the fall.

How could you?
Did you too,
ever love me?
Yes, even half past noon
How could I?
Ever love you?
Because I think I could've
Yes, even half past noon
And in the a.m.,
a quarter to two
An odd way to love, waiting in time
Maybe I shouldn't be so kind
Having you waste mine

Hazy eyes thousand-yard-staring
into trangressing skies
One's lovesick and heartache
that terrifies the Earth to shake
Crippling fear so bad
the seeds of flowers
hide a little longer, maybe just a tad
Can you believe nature feels your sorrow?
It feels what you may, even tomorrow.

Dreams
To
You
Turn
And
Darken
And
Turn
You
To
Dreams

If I could just
catch your voice in the wind
Just to hear it once again
Would it tell me things now and then?
Would it be much of a sin
to want to listen?

I sometimes get stuck in January
when December was trying to be forgotten
As January rolls into February
and then into March,
time passes before my eyes
But my time with you
is not forgotten.

Forgive the past months, they're a part of you forever.

New flowers grew near
and adorned her
as she gained new perspective
Springtime became her body
And winter sent well-wishes
to the coming longer days ahead.
