"tesla" poems
How Edison and Tesla warred To be the first to capture light. A replacement for fire And an ode to the sun. Guiding travelers Across sky, land, and seas. Balming my hungry skin with rays When I’m jonesing for the sunshine. Bringing life to what was once still Shadows dance across glowing plains. Illumination to our world No longer constrained by dawn and dusk. The power of storms harnessed To fuel our weapon against the dark. Transcending to be hopes beacon Against all fear. Miniaturized to be as small as a dot Oh how we hunger for our light.

Nikola Tesla respected physicist Thomas Edison’s dubious nemesis. Electricity was his toil was famous for his Tesla Coil. Radical dreamer of free power J.P. Morgan made things sour. Lovingly nature’s servant proposer of alternating current. Humble inventor that transformed homes famously stated he loved all tomes.

“The most important scientific revolutions all include, as their only common feature, the dethronement of human arrogance from one pedestal after another of previous convictions about our centrality in the cosmos.” Stephen Jay Gould Give me vacuum tube torus Lorentz-Klein interference receptors dual noble-gas maser integration processors at least one prosthetic Gaussian carbon-coated ribosomal Tesla coil an anthropomorphic hierarchical temporal meme-pseudopod some support vector k-nearest neighbor algorithms reverse engineered quantum optic die-cast silica motherboards self-assembling three dimensional electro-active protein polymers maybe even a superconducting spectral alkali resonance analyzer paired with harmonizing piezoelectric kinematic thermal modules dipped in subzero Kurzweil-circuit nanite neurotransmitters and voila! No we're not learning about inventors. No we're not learning about scientists. If we were, that would be great, But we're not, Instead we're learning about lying thieves, And overrated ones at that. We should be learning about real inventors, That didn't steal ideas from others, And were lucky enough not to have ideas stolen from them, Like George Westinghouse. We should be learning about real inventors, And real scientists, That sadly went unrecognized, Because their ideas were stolen, By so called inventors, That were in reality total jerks, Like Nikola Tesla, And Rosalind Franklin. However, instead of learning about true inventors like them, We're learning about the likes of Thomas Edison, Guglielmo Marconi, James Watson, And Francis Crick. Here's a "fun fact" about Thomas Edison, He promised Nikola Tesla 50 grand, In exchange for fixing his machines. However, when Nikola Tesla was finished, Several months later, He not only didn't pay Tesla, He mocked him for asking, He said that he was joking, And according to some, he was offered a raise of 10 dollars According to others, he asked for a raise, and was denied it, Either way, Tesla quit. Here's a "fun fact" about Guglielmo Marconi, He didn't invent the radio, Nikola Tesla did. However, Marconi pulled an Edison, And stole Tesla's invention from him. Luckily, although sadly too late, Tesla was rewarded the patent. Here's a "fun fact" about James Watson and Francis Crick, They took credit for Franklin's discovery. Why do we have to sit in social studies, Listening to Youtube videos, And reading books, And doing plays, That people created for school kids, About so called inventors. When instead, We could be reading books, Listening to Youtube videos, And doing plays, That we created ourselves, About real inventors. I want to get a real education. I want to learn about the truth, Instead of lies. So please teachers, Principals, Superintendents, Common Core Professionals, State Test Professionals, Please let us learn about the truth, Please don't make us learn about lies.

March in the streets But I urge you beware They’ll still butcher the sheep With the arms that they bear Private properteers part with No slave cropper’s share So this Northern aggression's Like Freeman’s red scare   All the colors of wind Through the head-shavers’ hair The Guevara adventures These pigs wouldn’t D.A.R.E. The Arabian knights In the grand wizard’s lair The denaturalized dreamer’s Recurring nightmare Of the Stalingrad ghost Still witch-hunting like Blair The projects to the precincts’ New modern welfare The post-trauma disorderly’s Empty screen stare The savages they thought Were waaaaayyyy over there The debt clock ticky tock In the heart of Times Square The 1st world problem-children Who commonwealth care Because some barely EAT And we’ve so much to spare But these cowherds still like their calves Medium rare And the bulls try to sell you Their laissez-faire snare Till your trapped in a minimum cage’s Last prayer And the only escape Is upgraded software Like automaton autobahn’s In disrepair In this fascist facade’s Fragrant breath of fresh air Just as toxic as stocks Of the mock billionaire So I shock ‘em like Tesla’s Bolt-action Voltaire And I leave it to you To go **** it out there

As I let my mind wander into time, and release these binds that have me confined, I began to feel a great energy, like the sun had been compressed and put into me, and as time tic tocs and unwinds into its trail of infinity. I realize a trinity mind body soul, they burn as a whole, for the mightiest of goals. and as time unwinds it'll leave you behind. unless you get your spot in, a line of legacys never to be forgotten Confucius, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King Jr, George Washington, Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara, Nelson Mendala, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Steve Jobs, Stephen Hawkins, Leonardo Da Vinci, Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart, nikola tesla, Wael Ghonim, Jimi Hendrix, Joseph Stiglitz, Reed Hastings, François Rabelais, Archimedes, Sigmund Frued, Charles Darwin, Aryabhata, Bob Marley, Garrett Morgan, George Washington Carver, Aristotle, John Locke, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Plato, Galileo Galilei...and many many more... The Thoughts of Nikola Tesla
The Secrets It is mind which brings for what you yearn; This is the gist of book by Byrne. “Thoughts are contagious.” I changed mine. “Let them be positive” said Einstein Energy, frequency and vibes you ever knew Are the secrets in Tesla's view. What Buddha had told made my head reel; “You can attract what you feel.” “If you think you lack nothing” said Lao Tzu “The whole world belongs to you.” S. Bharat

The Secrets
#1. What in the world          possessed you to do that!?@#$%^ My god . . . that was so stupid and careless! #2. Why? . . . I trusted my intuition. My heart believed, emotional logic compelled me. Fluid, spontaneous from the gut. #1. You’re crazy. I would never put myself at risk like that. #2. What risk? Getting harrassed by the mind police? They don't own me. #1. But they punished you. #2. No, just a little         desperate flaggelation. #2. But look at yourself all boxed up, stigmatized and branded. #1. You mean the labels? Those words they use to define me? #2. Yes, you’re a bad person. #1. No, I’m not. #2. Yes, you are. ... and they argued til dawn neither knowing nature does not declare winners but admires innovation.... like when Magellan sailed off no edges when Einstein confounded everyone by sailing in his head when the Wright Brothers lifted off when Tesla moved electrons when Christ embraced the centurions when Gautama just sat down when the librarian refused to take Catcher in the Rye off the shelf when Lenny Bruce swore on stage when Leary and Alpert left Harvard when Joan of Arc refused to recant when Gandhi and friends burned their English wool when Jung declared a spiritual psyche when the UFC earned a huge Neilsen so be your own guru take kava kava instead of Prozac barter with your hair stylist and when someone says you are wrong ask them why there are no dinosaurs in the Bible.

I pull up to the stop Sign and side-blow a little smoke Out of the window. Wait for the last burn Of the cigarette Then turn to green. One glance in the mirror And there’s a young woman In a Tesla with long brown Curly hair and bright red lips. Singing like A Walmart movie star. **** me now sighs. We pretend to not play mirror lick. 2 minutes trinkets. Though I sit up a little straighter Suddenly self wrongsciouss And then notice That my hair is sticking Up just like a who from whoreville Ah **** it. And she lets a smile out on bail Though I think it’s probably At the old man waiting to cross With way too many Christmas bags of shopping. And we drive on this endless Highway of hooks and tumours, one night stands And one life stands And pretty moments and heartbreaks and rebounds. And winning lottery tickets. And Cuban cigars. And our hearts call room service In dive motels. And then we find someone to laugh with. and my car is **** And my hair is going silver And I hit 40 like an uppercut. And all of us patch up the cracks And take the pins out of other peoples voodoo dolls And dance with what we have. And do our best to punch above And throw a trick still. Like everything was beautiful once And now even if we fade just into accolades. We wear a A lucky shirt A new pair of shoes hung up on the telephone wires A revenge dress to help undress The bitterness A little blue that changes colours Sometimes As we drive away No more a stranger Than we ever were before.

Ursa Major: Aren't you going to create anymore? Tesla: What's the point? They'll steal it from me, and then use it to destroy me, I won't survive... Ursa Major: You've brought Light to the World! They'll surely remember you!! Tesla: No they won't. And it will be someone else that takes the credit...

Tesla Memoirs (..)
Your tiny hiccups break the silence of a room full of mechanical people with their perfectly rehearsed Cheshire Cat grins and I move like a marionette puppet that had too much coffee except this interruption in my system is caused by the electricity that surged through my stomach when we locked eyes so now I feel sick but in an oddly pleasant way I'm sure Tesla would have been so ecstatic about our spark

si deus nobiscum, quis contra nos?
Today, like many days My special friend in study hall Asks me why I am not dating you He tells me that when we broke up It broke his heart Because he loved us being together So he recently told me That while he knows We are with other people He has been secretly Or not so secretly Trying to get us back together By telling each other When we are near In hopes that we will talk Now, this is extremely embarrassing Considering I am very awkward around you And you don't want to see me anyway But I put up with it Because I love him And I know you do too He told me that he wants us to be together Because he said he loves me And he loves you too Even though you are a "womanizer" who drives a gas guzzler And he wants the two people He loves To love each other But every time He says this I have to remind him That not everything is perfect Like how he says sometimes Tesla cars catch on fire Despite their fuel efficiency And stylish appearance And even though University of Kentucky Has an amazing basketball team They still have 92% coal emissions

Is electricity In my tongue. I can hear the Zap! Zap! As i Taste nothing but it's cold Calm Cool Collected Flavor. And I remember, Edison didn't come up with this Tesla didn't either. But instead it came up in its Own Poking up out f the dirt. And no one realized it was Electric. I take another sip and I remember Peppermint is my favorite And I crinkle my nose In a good way And my face breaks out into a smile

alight a path of excited neurons saved by corporeal fuses sacrificed fried to save my head from overloads all the amperage storing up Danger High Voltage!!! flows inside from too much reality. I need your alternating current to mediate my DC. To my Tesla, like, you are , Miss Whitman. To your Edison I am but one spark of Voltaire. You sing of electric bodies ten million volts. I imitate Voltaire as he did Virgil. If someday we should unite, our sparks would alight on eternity.

These Are Scenarios
Oh, brave new world, What the **** is this Phenomenal metamorphosis? I was cocooned by Kafka in Prague Drank too much absinthe Shocked by Tesla in Budapest Shot by Serbian snipers in the rabbit hole Saved by Jesus in Rome Had a hell of a time with heathens on a party bus Walked the rim of Vesuvius Met a gypsy princess Came home to mama's basement Finished reading The Names by Don Delillo Went back down to Florida Where I lived with grandma in Spring Hill Fell deep for a siren An angel who saved my life Had a nasty fever dream Hell broke loose and I wrecked my car Flew back to Los Angeles Went to church and prayed Stayed and worked for the family business Explored Hubbard's cult, smoked *** and played Too many sins to mention I must confess the motherlode No human here is much like God How sad it is to know I'm in control A butterfly pinned down in hell You can reflect your face or soul

Butterfly
Bills bills and more bills!!! Can I escape this liquidic abyss riddled with electrical flows that strangled my woes? Californicating in high gas prices and rent that drives me deeper into saving my soul rather than my account... These prices strike louder and brighter than Zeus' thunderbolt, like Greek gods can only be summoned at the shear sight of monetary value, leaving an impression greater than Mother Goose... Sell my assets or sell my soul..? I struggle to comprehend what will consume the consumer only to pretend... Tesla couldn't fight the good fight Edison tried to contend... Yet I remain firm, like the Rock of Jabralter I stand proud between two islands...of insanity and genius, yet the two intertwine so elequently... Am I oblivious to pretentiousness...? Or caught in the net of Poisiden...helpless, flapping so daintily.... The world eyes are green, yet I see blue... Filled with innocence and bliss so true... Bartender, allow me to take a dive in your shots filled with sympathy and obliviously pain triangles can't slew... On a parallel of happiness and plains of joy, certain dimension can't destroy... I continue to swim in debt like Phelps, no coy.

Financial Oblivion
Countless nights with my hand on my chin, In silence, in solace, in darkness at night. The hunger for knowledge and quest for the truth, Lead me to a desk with a small dim lamp, Where I sit and I ponder my questions in life. I wonder how many people like me, Have sat in their rooms or personal sanctuaries. Sitting alone on the verge of epiphany, Struggling to find the perfect words to define, Their thoughts or emotions or questions like mine. Einstein's theory of relativity. Tesla's ideas of electricity. Wilde's philosophy on the emotion of love. These men are defined by the great things they did, Because they defined the visions in their head. My pupils dilate as I stare at my walll. Time slows down when I'm in deep thought. Everything, all of it, rushes at me. I cannot describe the things that I see, When I turn on the switch of possibility.
