*I think it was pop....yes, the Hinoi Team, among others.  [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i3VCVHzTAY] (sonnet #MMMMMMCCXLI)   Rain.  Streetlights hemmed by ghostly mists' detail Watch cars line up to scatter in a sense Upon their ways, and it is late, for hence We do not listen to beat music's scale Of "happy" thet I'd smile for ere, the pale Eye of these sent'nels blacker night'd fringe thence Our silent what? as he talks of defense In sheer forgetting, like I knew'd avail. None knew quite why my cellphone's covrage poor, And I suppose in retrospect, laughed to Themselves for how I'd sit there so demure Without my ride, the libry's bench wet too, Me wrestling with that slim device sans cure. I oiled my boots for sloshing puddles' crew. 03Apr17a

How the Progressives Cut Us Off
Look, this woman is pregnant, In her second last chance to have a baby Perhaps a baby boy, or sexless, She is yet to give birth, Or even a still-birth Will be a land mark For those who feel for others, This September 2014 The midwife will attend to Europe, Mrs. Europe the mother of all nations Had been impregnated by reason, Voice of reason and consciousness, He fertilized her with the ductile germ, Full of cells for struggle against unit Against marginalization of the uncultured, Where the progressives in the oats’ mouth **** Now, a second last child is bound to be born Britain may be her foster mother, We pray for Britain to be strong In this moral duty of parenthood.

I laugh     when I hear conservatives talk about, the sanctity of marriage, and No Adam and Steve,         when I couldnt count                 the number   of extramarital indiscretions         committed by them, if I was a centipede,       with five toes on each leg.              I laugh         when I hear progressives talk about Conservative fear mongerin tactics. Have you seen any of these anti cigarette comercials lately? Who thought it would be a good Idea to put a ****** arterial cleanin surgery video on Comedy Central?  :)      I laugh when I hear conservatives say they are going to do everythin possible to keep Obama from servin a second term... and yet they nominate Mitt Romney as their man to do it. Who's gonna vote for a robot? :p     I laugh when I hear progressives call conservatives nazi's, and then tell me I shouldn't be     doin this,                or that, or I should belive in somethin I can't see... like change. :D Vote Ron Paul! because those other douchbags don't know what they're talkin about.

Political Contradictions
You have your demagogic president-elect, Dreaming in shades of Mussolini And will sit in his downtown skyscraper and laugh that all the populists Were not in on the joke, And thus could not be in on the punchline. The progressives hotboxed the shower the night we handed the country to Trump. Pennsylvania, the center of the cataclysm. The vortex has opened and engulfed all the steel, All of the illegal immigrants have been scooped up and swallowed, Reproductive rights will be voided in a stacked Supreme Court validating the opinions of white male legislators. Tensions twisting to contort and ignore the onset realization That all progress is halted to return the country to the era of segregation, Deportation Gestapo formed with the lone intent to displace the children of those who dared to dream of a brighter life. America, look what you've done and face yourself with your objections. Look dead in your eyes and see all the minorities, tears in the diaries of closeted teenagers, And the judicial dread of the gentleman who only wants to live comfortably with his husband. You've made stepping stones of the counterculture, all crying in dorm rooms or next to their gardens, All together in sorrow. Underground America has been sold out, We're a social experiment for what can happen when sulfuric acid is poured upon the voiceless. The silent majority has shut us up. We've been yelling to change history and now are tracking back. Bigotry is back in style and I'm terrified.

Black Israelite haters, excused, led to schoolboys reviled and accused of white racism, hate. The reaction was great-- but the whiteboys were merely amused. Progressives were driven berserk by a teenager's innocent smirk. The old shaman tried shaming: and drumming and blaming, but none of those strategies work! Mr. Phillips, the activist drummer gave Regressives their Indian Summer-- till a teenager's smirk drove the demons berserk and made dumbed-down regressives much dumber. If a smile is a cultural crime then the criminals need to do time. Every whiteboy must go in this cracka-ass show and I'm guilty for reason of rhyme.

Sport that quiver in the dancing sun so brazen that an arrow head is over **** parting lovers as wide as the Memphis river dissapate the sands as we are left blown by Jeremiads offering  soliloquies that **** elevated sycophants use as  obituaries and McCarthy's ghost goads the progressives like history repeating itself

#One World Limerick The notion of nations united gets the global progressives excited. Their party of Babel is Nimrod’s own rabble (we’re left with the Right uninvited). Values Clarification Limerick Many worldlings (whose ways we bemoan) hope their lives we’ll approve and condone. But we couldn’t care less for the views they profess; we just wish they would leave us alone Roman Limerick Our antichrist leaders (so Fabian) are more Nero, and less like Octavian. So with Caesars and salad I’ll dress up my ballad. (The future’s plebeian or Flavian.) Kente Pajamas Limerick A racist obtuse Afro-whiner Tried to give the right-wing a black shiner While applauding Obama He railed at my mama His manners could be a lot finer  .  .  . Apocalyptic Limerick The riddles of John’s Revelation imply a large-scale devastation. The end is not too clear but looks rather nuclear: a well-deserved A–bomb-in-nation. Freethinking Limerick An atheist, weary of fables Found his intellect turning the tables. He declared: As a nihilist held to a higher list, I’m for erasing the labels. Mendacious Limerick Fake propaganda as news only fools those it’s meant to confuse there is wrong, there is right when you’re left in the light of a nation with little to lose.

Litany of Limerick
You may well ask where am I, Am I engaged or fully checked out, Take a seat, happy to clarify, Placate your mind, dispel any doubt. I'm Biding my time and that's not a joke, Giving the old guy time to implode, He's senile and tired, befuddled and woke, Any wires remaining will for sure overload. The Border is crumbling, COVID runs wild, Afghanistan gone, China supreme, Kamala in hiding, lost and beguiled, Progressives now surging their wishlist extreme. Nancy grandstanding, Chuck babbling loud, Cuomo shot down, who would have known, Just goes to show it's good to be proud, If your cover is solid and not wholly blown. I'm mulling and watching disasters untold, Inflation unbridled, crime running wild, The Media's support from lukewarm to cold, Uncle Joe's moods ever more riled. Well may you ask why I seldom now speak. The answer is simple and easy to grasp, Time is my friend as you see week by week, And eventually bites like a poisonous Asp.

Folks ask why I chose Elon as my guy, Smart and tough Knows how to fight even when rough, Let him loose To put woke projects in the noose, Cause a stir For progressives to deter, Stop the rot That placed us all in this garotte. Act with haste Take a sledgehammer to the waste, Clean up house Never mind who first we douse, Set the scene For what will come not what has been, Make us great Stem the voices that insidiously berate, Make us strong Choose what's right and not what's clearly wrong, Pull as one Don't cheat and steal then simply run, Trust in him For the fate of all excesses will be grim, Trust in me See how great united we can be.

The Sledgehammer - in Trumps own words
I know I'm slightly losing it and Jill sees that now too, So all we can but hope for is to Bluster and to Woo. What If I sometimes falter with names or something more, Only Fox is bent on keeping that lame and pointless score. The rest of my fan Media provides me with great flak, While I air my inner Irish and repeatedly attack. As to the clueless voters I truly feel for all, I quietly do get them, as the choices do appall. Trump is but a cannon with a worn-out rusty bore, Little in the barrel spraying mayhem aft and fore. And to my friend Kamala, words truly don't suffice, But no-one of sound mind would want to roll that dice. So what are we now left with that possibly makes sense, To getting people voting and off that dreaded fence. I'm quite the only choice if truth be clearly told, Despite the fact I'm quirky and obviously quite old. Thank goodness for the knowledge my team will see me through, I bless HIM every night for this weird creative crew. They tell me what to say whenever I might need, Have me practice all **** day to show that I can lead. It's a challenge for them all but what about for me, I’m sure it’ll be worth it in the end as you will see. And while this plan unfolds I’ll keep a low profile Speaking ever less as has become my style. There is one thing that worries me far more than I would care, Jon Stewart's now resurfacing with his weird confounding stare. Throwing comments like sharp knives as a rapper from the hood, And jabs like some street **** with a blistering left hook. I’m asking my top people to rush him off the air, The answer that I’m getting is pretend he isn’t there. None of this a problem, the story of my life, I cherish a good brawl and every dose of strife. Abortion is my ticket with progressives by my side, This alone will stem the frothing MAGA tide. Just watch me now perform with my wily stash of tricks, For if Trump is made of Teflon, I’m made from Scranton bricks.

I fell hard for the head of that Isaac (note the gravity of my event). Over Tombstone I soared, on the winds of the Lord Until Holliday’s bullets were spent. Floating iceberg, I challenged Titanic Single raindrop, got lost in the storm; Genghis Khan’s mongol horse had ideas, of course Stalin’s mommy kept baby Joe warm . . . Perspectives from lesser-known players May improve the morale of the team; But a view from the edge of the forty-fifth ledge Will compel true progressives to scream! Have you noticed the wave on that wizard, Washingtonian mage of the West? You may dislike his ways, but it’s only a phase; Now admit it; his hair is the BEST. He’s the Cheeto in charge of your nation Chief constructor of all that is Great. Though you’re peeved at your loss, Mr. Drumpf is the boss And there’s no more excuse for your hate. I’m the roof on Melania’s husband Call me carrot-top, call me toupée . . . You can whine all you want, but I’m here to be blunt: I’m the night after Democrat day. I’m the hair on your wonderful leader Driving liberals mad—and beyond. The Deplorable’s turn: feel the heat, feel the burn; Oh hilarious orange!  (No . . . blonde.)

The View from Hair
What’s happened to the America we once knew? What’s so captivating about this lifestyle new? Have we now “progressed” to an unrecognizable state? Is there any recourse? Is it now too late? These and many more questions abound. Answers to these can be hardly found. Morality and decency that once were known, Seems now rarely, if ever, shown. Debauchery and protest are now the norm To resist this usually creates a massive storm. Our schools have become a breeding ground For all that the liberal elites expound. Removal of our history by those who don’t know That where we have come from we should proudly show. A violent minority seems to rule the land As they ignorantly, defiantly, continue to stand. Our demise as a nation that once was known As a place where honor, courage, and morality was shown, Seems destined if we to our roots do not turn As progressives seemed determined to see us not return.

Latte Liberals, from Berkeley to Boston Have a new world of fun to get lost in: Let Progressives have fits; Monster trucks, flashing **** Are now trending in Cambridge and Austin! It's a scene you were taught to despise As imprudent, plebeian, unwise . . . Like that milquetoast George Fwill, William Buckley's ghost Bill in his coffin is rolling his eyes. Though you scold, as you cluck like a hen, The great party goes on on, ending when? Twenty-twenty will tell Whether Liberal's hell Was created by God or by men.

Ruthie Ginsburg is gone, and we’re glad. Trump has found her replacement to add. Let us look on and cheer! The appointment is here And progressives now drive themselves mad. From the ACLU to the Court, Ruth promoted the right to abort. You may claim she was God’s but she seemed, by all odds more a midwife of murderous tort. Say hello. Ginsburg’s honor is spent. The new judge now begins her ascent . Ruthie’s star has gone dead. A black robe . . . or a red? (Only Jesus can say where she went.)         Postscript:      Amy’s IN ! (and appointed to judge.)      Rabid Liberal: curse not, nor begrudge.      Are you feeling resigned?      Your own team failed to find      Any dirt; not a stain nor a smudge.

Limericks Tweaked for Amy
Whispers and innuendo, Partisan politics tearing us apart, Grandstanding and deflection, Are we not placing the horse before the cart? A divisive President This much we all agree, But our actions matter, This surely we must see. Impeachment is not the answer When facts are merely ploys, Interpreted, discarded, Like a child’s forgotten toys. Democrats all shouting, Republicans dismayed, Eye rolls and bluster, Each entrenched not to be swayed. Forgotten the crumbling bridges, The misery of those without a roof, Healthcare that’s little caring, Policies enacted on the hoof. Progressives on soap boxes, Berating us to change our ways, Ditch the cars, eat just plants You haven’t years, but merely days. Conservatives all hiding, Resistance the key word, Dig more coal, farm those parks, Their inverted thinking so absurd. Are we all this angry That reason we can’t find. Have our senses dissipated To the point of turning blind? What legacy our children, A society torn apart, Our moral compass lost, A sail-less boat without a chart.
