It’s been raining tears of joy since I met you.

Waiting to be found


It breaks my heart to see and feel love,
It’s so overwhelming to cope with.
I try to feel nothing then I see how much,
I need to believe in love and hope to believe.


We need to have something to believe in,
Be it religion or love or destiny.
Whatever you believe or hope for in life,
Love is real and will not be doubted by me.


Love is the reason I wake up every day,
It is my lifelong search for happiness that drives me forward in hope.
It doesn’t matter if you believe in true love,
Just heed the words I say because nobody knows,
What will happen tomorrow.


Our destiny is already written
And when you love it cannot be denied.
You know it is the truth to you and they can see it in your smile.


Love is all you need to make the world go around.

New Year’s night


There is a fire burning and people are drinking;
People are dancing and people are singing.
Auld Lang Syne; it’s another year gone.
So cherish this night, because it will soon be done.


The snow is falling all around us and many friends are merry;
So give everyone a hug and kiss those cheeks!
Come on now, feast upon the many cherries and berries;
Swig from the tankard and have yourselves some meat,
Because this is a celebration, so enjoy the feast!


Hold the one you love and greet your neighbour’s as family,
Because soon enough you will be back at each other’s throats.
So give them your blessings and wish upon a star;
Offer everyone a piece of peace
And see this New Year as a chance to end the feud
And as a chance for new relationships to grow.

I'll never forget you.


I'm still a boy inside and sometimes I still need to cry.
If this makes me not a man, then I don't mind.
I'm supposed to be strong for you,
For you have no strength left to fight.
But I'm simply too beaten,
To stop the tears pouring from my eyes.


I thought you'd always be there, if ever I got in trouble;
But you’re slowly and painfully bursting that bubble.
My protection is going; I can't do this without you.
Please try to keep your eyes open;
To delay my heart from being broken.


I hope you know I'll always love you
And I hope this finally ends your pain.
For you never did anything to deserve this;
I'll think of you each times it rains.
Because the dark clouds brought us down,
Whilst the sunshine made us happy.
So I'll never forget your last words,
Or the fact you gave me a family.


Or the fact you loved me when no-one else would have;
I'll never forget those times, you and I laughed.
I'll never forget those times, I made you cry.
Please forgive me, I never meant to hurt you;
I was just a silly child.
Who made mistakes, just as adults do;
But I'll always know that you'll love me, whatever I do.

And you never did, judge my choice of Wife.
You were always there, for us and our child

Just being with you made us all smile.


So I thank you Mom, for everything you've done for me
And all those times, you lent me money

From riches to rags


Most human beings are living like ghosts,
Not really knowing what the future holds.
Whilst we wash in the slime,
In our own cardboard homes.


There is a building; that is your home.
Once picture perfect; now in ruins after a cyclone.
Now like those you once looked down upon,
From your self-appointed pedestal;
You too have become what you used to call a ***.


But now you must call them what they are;
A friend, an enemy, a homeless dying drunk,
Sleeping in a burnt out car.
In need of shelter, just as you are;
But the ***** that gave you shelter,
Shows charity starts at home.


For when the streets become your home
And you have lived that way for many years;
You will look at people in their suits
And recall once hearing all the cheers.
Success was such an easy thing to attain,
But compassion for your fellow man has become your new aim.


For when you have lost all your worldly possessions
And you have realized your working life, is simply a profession.
Then maybe you will see clearly, find some sort of consolation;
Once you have regrouped and once more risen.


You have to begin your life, all over again;
But the partner standing by you is in the same situation.
Then three years down the line,
As you sit there upon your throne;
You remember the bad old days have now come and gone.


But you are no longer a snob;
Now you no longer live for your job.
Now you no longer choose to live alone;
You can now open up to a fellow human being and live life as one.

Fallen angel.


I am the man who fell to Earth;
My space suit failed and I found it hard to breathe.
As I landed amongst the roses that grew from the dirt,
I knew I had found my new home and I would never want to leave.


We find ourselves inside our own sanctuary,
Surrounded by our own insecurities;
But in humane hands I feel safe at last.
Safe enough to swear a pact.


All those people living down there, I never used to understand;
I used to think they were below me, before their land became mine.
Beautiful angels surround me; we are locked together on this land.
Suicide romance is a forgotten memory;
I have removed it from my mind.


The sun is shining on my beautiful wife;
I love it when she holds me so tight.
I hold her close to me and remind her of a former loves light;
His face has changed to my face now and our future is so bright.
