your taste lingers thick
on my tongue,
like the wedding cake
placed before me;
half-eaten, and
mostly smeared,
as i think of what
he could've done for me,
but didn't
i went to a friend's fancy greek wedding and the cake was terrible. i can still feel it in my stomach, yuck.
I met Rowen 20 years ago didn’t really
know him at that time. 2 years ago I was visiting my mum in nz
and was staying with Dee and shells friends of mine for the full
7 weeks and Dee said I could go and meet someone for a coffee
which is still going on today don’t know what was in the coffee but has bought some big stories .I went on a site in New Zealand called NZ dating and this someone  started talking to me for a lengthy amount of time saying he was from the uk and talking about how I was on holiday 1 night before I was due to fly home and by this time staying with him at his house in mount maunganui he said I should go and pack my suitcase for going home I just went and stared at my case and did nothing he came in 10 minutes later and said why haven’t you done any packing yet I just broke down which got him going so we went for walk on the beach and as the full moon shone down I got down on 1 knee and proposed . 2 years on has bought 2 awesome families together

I wanted to laugh.
You took away the giggles.

I wanted to fly.
You held me by my wings.

I wanted to read.
You took away my coffee.

I wanted to sing.
You took away the notes.

I wanted to write.
You burned my paper.

I wanted to leave.
*The diamond shone on my dead finger.
While doing Guy Fawkes the night before
I received some surprising news
My Father said some things to me
I nearly blew a fuse
He said to me when tomorrow comes
A sad event will start your day
and i was so upset to wake up
to find my dad was taken away
this happened over 20 years ago
and it's still feeling like new
The anniversary comes but once a year
and Oh! I feel so blue
It was the day that changed my life
but things have improved as such
My awesome husband is in my life
and changed me oh so much
my love of life is music
and it brings me so much cheer
but my husband and my father
I love them both so dear
I really now must finish
before I go on to long
but I want you to remember
Go on! sing a song!

Ben's father died
leaving his bride
with a pair of
the world's
brightest diamonds

An hour later
at the altar,
she saw the world
for the very first time

To whom did the desire started,
a life to spend of the offset.
Stand guard, await down the fertile aisle,
heart open in keeping a face straight while.

Seek the heart to contemplate a mere indecision,
a bored attempt to reek in a false revision.
Too late now as the maiden transcends the scene
jarring the thoughts aside or else it reeks as sin.

Stared longer on her pace down the cloth until streams flow,
a split-second realized his heart leapt and his feelings towed
Tucked in the throat, he croaked and let the furtive heart free,
'this woman,' he saw - beaming, 'am hers and she, for me.'

"Can you not stay alone
and be with me and take on
the world as what we should be
claiming what the Creator promised us free.

Take my hand and let me
lead you to a trail we
sought after a life of bitter and sweet
because only our First Love made us complete."

Marry the man who cannot see
The one who can't reach the apple tree
Or if ever a modern Eve will lead him there
He won't bite the fruit of great despair

Marry the man who cannot hear
The one who won't believe a deceiving seer
Or if ever a sea goddess will call for him
He won't dive in there, he will not swim

Marry the man who dreams for your joy
The one who never thinks you just need a toy
Or if ever you wish for a complicated task
He will do it to see you smile without why to ask

Marry the man who never looks at your face
But rather sees more of your inner grace
Or if ever you're pretty, he will always tell
You have a beautiful heart and he knows it well

Marry the man who forgets everything
Just to offer you the most precious ring
Not a thing of silver, diamond or gold
But a ring which tells a great love ever told

All of these might true but it doesn't mean
You will search for the one who will treat you as a queen
If ever someone comes and tells that he loves you
Just marry the man when you're ready to say *I do
When you're ready...
There are some people
Who you can't imagine
Ever having a future with
But then there are some
You can see
So clearly
You can imagine them at the top of an aisle
You can imagine them cooking in the kitchen
You can imagine them playing with your children
You can imagine what it would feel like to come home to them
But you never tell them
Because, let's face it
You'd be scared if someone said that to you

It felt like a funeral,
Instead of a wedding
The ink on the divorce paper smudges
Way too soon:
However, once again,
Tall stem Roses decorated the hallway of the church
While the old church bell ring out of tune for the first time
In one hundred years
~~
Jasmine bloom during both day and night day
at the entrance to the tomb
However, today they didn’t bloom
They bow with shame
~
If you must whisper, whisper a prayer
Is this a funeral or a wedding?
Said one of the guests in velvety blue:
They both wore red those two
However, the devil always wears plaid
When hell was getting hotter: the ceremony
was just flat and boring from being to end
I had always in vision her as the beauty without the beast
Seeing the bride up close and personal
  made a blob fish look
Pleasantly appealing in a non-comely sort of way
Today for the second time:
May I present to you Mr. Mrs.
Dumb and Dummier
