Poetic T Sep 2014
I am an echo in the wind
A shadow faint
Hardly is it seen,
I am
Deceased
Departed
Echoes
Of life now not seen,
But that breeze you feel
That touch upon your skin,
Is the love I have carried
Even death could not dim,
The Light of our love
Shining,
Warmth,
Vibrant,
Even the veil couldn't
Keep our love apart,
Know that I am here
That feeling is me holding you
When you sleep,
For love has no boundaries
Life,
&
Death,
Love lives even though I'm deceased.

You wished to look
Wanting to peek,
Beyond the veil
Souls
Lingering
Empty
You were never meant to see,
Now those not seen, seek
Breath,
Flow,
Life,
None should peer
None should see afterlife,
But curiosity
Killed a cat,
Now it comes to finish
What you saw.
Never were you meant to look
Beyond a veil,
It was closed for a reason
Now it must cleanse
Eyes
Mind,
Life,
Soul
What was seen
Must be still like those seen,
Your curtain is closing
What was is now what becomes
For you are a prisoner of the veil
You are now what was never meant to be seen..

The veil, the veil, it coats me in labor and delay!
I tarry not by will but by mass, form, and time.
Face turned to heaven, toes to its floor I will let the sea overtake me,
As though its current could slake this hiraeth,
This riptide of yearning that pulls at my soul.
Truly, to stand before the sea is to be audience to the world.

Behind a curtain
Blind to the eye
To this I am certain
The Dead Land resides

Watch with my soul
I seek thee
I stare into the scrying bowl
I see thee

Crying these diamond tears
Screaming your name
It falls to deaf ears
Darkness you remain

Knocking on the livings door
You want to be known
Your heart beat, no more
Like a bad call through a phone

You're fading in and out of life
The light no where to be seen
Shadows impale your being like a knife
And you're silent as you scream

Once in my life I have shown my face
Then regretted afterwards.
I trusted.
I failed.
And promised I won’t be the same.

Once in my life I have worn my veil
That covers my facade
I pretended
I hid
And I became contented being a shadow.

Once in my life I lost my strength
And learned how to become weak.
But I heard my inner voice
I saw myself in the mirror
And I was awakened.

Once again, I am going to show my face
I want to try
I want to believe
That I’ll be in peace without my veil
Once more...
Unveiling myself...

Our love can not exist.
      Echo's final plight.
           Ero's arrow askew.

Come find me beyond the
clouds.
I'll wait among the whispering
veils,
      among the weeping
willows.
i wait for you at the breaking of
dawn.
Heike Borgard May 2014
between sunset and dawn
at the edge of time
near the fountain, in a crystal garden
that's where you will find me

we will dance in the moonlight
to the sound of frozen stars
and if our souls will happen to meet
I will lift my veil

when you awake I'll be gone
you won't find me twice
but memories of pearls and shells
engraved in your heart

The silent screams of forgotten souls
The poor things tethered to their worldly regrets
Are what haunt me in the dead of night
Pale ghosts glide before my eyes
Their images distorted by the veil between our worlds
They gather where their lives have ended
Pining for the times when they were alive
Or filled with a need for vengeance
Just the same, unsatiated
