You walked past
the speed of life hit me

Like two tulips touching
because the wind blew
in a certain direction
with a certain strength
that it never had before
pushing those two tulips together
for the first time

but hopefully not the last

I've holes inside my body no one's ever even seen
My skin is made of something that is thick enough to be
A layer of confusion in the eyes of me for you
But if you want to want me there is nothing I can do

I'll separate the years and cast them out upon the sea
And watch the salted water move, collecting our debris
"There's nothing left to carry," said the wave as if it knew
That we are not each other's, time has split us both in two
two years and going wrong

your heart breaks in two
mine is crushed by its pieces
let's start rebuilding
for a moment i dawdled, and now the crosswalk denies me. so i shall dawdle again.
Sometimes I stare at the

H         o        r        i        z       o       n

I imagine someone does the same and now
One
Two
People are staring at the

H         o        r        i        z       o       n

Suddenly,
We are One Two.
It does not matter that I am
lonely
I am not
**alone.

His instant coffee sits at the back of the drawer in the break room
Just like always
His coffee cup, work phone sits in his box waiting for him
Just like always

I wait for him in the mornings in the break room
Waiting, listening for him to walk through the door
Just like always

When the door doesn't open I remind myself
Its been two months now
Its been real for two months
And your never going to walk through those doors again
Your never going to pull out your instant coffee and coffee mug
Rushing around because your late for your shift again

So I work
I avoid "your" work
It makes me think too much of you
It makes me want to hear your joyful laugh again
So I work

Break time comes
I sit on the couch waiting
Sometimes seconds
Sometimes minutes
Sometimes the whole time
Waiting for you to come around the corner with a new discovery
To discuss your new favorite youtube video
But then I remind myself
Its been two months now
Its been real for two months

So I work
I avoid "your" work
It makes me think too much of you
It makes me want to hear your joyful laugh again
So I work

You're often the topic of discussion
I avoid it
It hurts too much
Your name is like the sound of nails across the chalkboard
Stabbing me in the chest making it hard to breath
Your name is like sugar
Sweet and sincere
Bringing a smile to my face

But I have to remind myself when I see cars that look just like yours
Its been two months now
Its been real for two months

So I work
I avoid "your" work
It makes me think too much of you
It makes me want to hear your joyful laugh  again
So I work
This is about a co-worker whom I was close with, who committed suicide over the summer. Its been hard and continues to be hard but I know he would have wanted me to continue on with my life.

at 2pm
i smile and laugh
with my friends
over a stupid joke

at 2am
i lie awake on my bed
with tears streaming down my face
and blood flowing down my arm

two different personalities
all in one person
its no wonder
i think of suicide more often than i should
i got inspired by something on tumblr
Day one, first tear.
Day two, come here.
Day three, sink in.
Day four, reality shock.
Day five, lost mind.
Day six, let's end this.

A personal thought

On the first day, I walked by you.
I fell into those brown eyes.
On the second day, you told me your name.
How do ya do?

Before I knew it,
we were walking down the same line,
side by side.
Our mouths were closed,
but our eyes were playing it all.

The thunder rumbled,
the cameras flashed and I told you how I feel.
But, it's not like you gave a **** anyway.
I played the role of a fool so well,
I should be writing a script,
or playing the part
of a girl who broke her own heart.

I received the flowers you gave to me,
I snapped them in half.
It's not like I cared about you anyway.
Do you like the taste of your medicine?

Before I know it,
I'll be dancing with your demons,
side by side.
Because I think I'm starting
to like this game.
You think your playing a game. You thought you won. Well, dear, it isn't even over.
