I don’t call you crumpet
I doubt you taste very good.
But you fit the name strumpet
Like I was sure you would.
A better name would be porcupine
The pork part fits you so much
But it would be so very awful;
You’re a thing I’d hate to touch.

I’d call your crew a clown car,
But, while you are surely on wheels.
You are more of a slow train wreck
Based on the looks and the feel.
Some fools call you Robin Hood
But I reject that whole twisted pitch.
Robin Hood did not rob the poor
Just so he could give to the rich.

You think you’re a smart cookie
But, you are nothing but a crumb.
You think we are all of us stupid
But only your supporters that are dumb.
You’re a ****** cake that has fallen
With a poisonous coat of frosting.
You are not worth a penny of what
A disaster like you are is costing.

You leave a nasty taste in the mouth
Of those who have to be near you.
There is nothing about you at all
That would serve to endear you.
It really would nice if you would go
Live for decades in a prison cell.
That color of orange, for once
Would suit you so very well.

I’ve begun thinking
In terms of music.
We are a decrescendo,
Falling from forte
To pianissimo
As the clock ticks
It’s rhythmic warning.
Your voice is always
In crescendo,
A cello when you laugh,
Mournful viola for those moments
Your strings are wound
Too tightly.
The way your fingers
Glissando across my rib cage,
Playing con amore upon my skin.
You taste like a symphony,
Brass and woodwind,
An opus on my lips.
Some days
You make me forget
How playing someone
Can be bad.

Your lips are a poison, burning the back of my throat with the taste of you
But I can’t help but crave just one more sip.

The comedown is the hardest part,
When you find yourself a broken heart,
But you're more than brave and you may be smart.
Choose how they'll taste your flavor,
How they'll taste your flavor.
One day they will understand,
Why you stood up to them 'til the end,
And you will find some other men, better friends.
Choose how they'll taste your flavor,
How they'll taste your flavor.

Deflecting now,
Fight in the words of other,
Deflecting now,
So you can become a keeper,
Deflecting now,
See without their glitter,
And if I were you, I would love me better.

A word who falls into the past,
Has no one there to help him last,
You should say it and say it fast,
To choose how they'll taste your flavor,
How they'll taste your flavor.
If you decide to write a different tale,
Write one where love and light prevail,
And when nights are cold and your dreams are frail,
Choose how they'll taste your flavor,
How they'll taste your flavor.

Deflecting now,
Break the chain of your anchor,
Deflecting now,
Sail to the island of dreamers,
Deflecting now,
All the waves inside your matter,
And if I were you, I would love me better.
I'm biting my lip at another morning,
it tastes like metal
I've had the pleasure of knowing this taste before
however,
I've never known yours
do you taste like my bleeding chapped lips?
or do you taste like ice cream on a summer night?
do you taste like an unfiltered cigarette?
or do you taste like mint gum?
you must taste like sleepless nights,
because that's all my body seems to crave.

most days
i tend to bottle up my emotions
until the glass
isn't half full
but full and empty
simultaneously

today i am pouring it out
in the form of liquid gold
burning my lips
and biting my tongue for me

am i too strong for you?
you sip slowly now.

the way your soul ignites
tells me not
if it is passion or pain
that you taste on my lips

it seems you care not for the taste either way.

Filter these bones of what you call the past
Unravel my heart from the taste of you
Sweet but Bitter
Salty yet Pleasent
