To write, to write
Yes these words do excite...
A sleeping giant of sorts
Whose brow has not been tested
And how carefully invested -
Scrambled verse is attested
                                              To a rhymic riddled head
I am the one form of reality that is lacking in explanation,
When it is time for me to do what must be done I leave most people with indignation.

My duties are never to damage and yet no matter how I proceed the damage is done,
In the shadows I may be found or even under the beaming light of the sun.

Because of what I do retrospectively I aid in maintaining life,
On the down side within most families, as well as communities my actions could cause strife.

Throughout the course of time no human has yet to solve my so called crime,
But with patience, focus and courage my mystery may be explained in no time.

With an anxious haste I bet you are wondering what I am
My name and purpose is fairly simple, I’m not much of a scam.

A fair warning I must give, please stay calm, take a deep breathe,
Although I have many names, one you might be familiar with is the name Death.
Thinking Doc Apr 2015
Do we accept the wounds we think we deserve? Is there a choice
in the pain we inflict upon ourselves, in choosing how much we bleed,
For our flags, our heroes, our lovers and our ideas?

Is there consolation in knowing that Justice is served by our own hands?
Pain is dealt in our silence, in our choice for quiet
When the multitudes of broken hearts and starving Stomachs
need a voice.

All is not lost in the  trust that we place on Humanity, hoping,
that we can defeat the waves of bigotry which crash,
upon the shores of our homes, to break the spirit that we
foster through times of peace.

Hate is the fuel for carnage, the bitterness of people,
lost, without a voice, lost, in the blanket of silence,
that we tuck them in.

Living a sheltered life.
Nothing but strife.
Fighting my own war.
Don't know what for.
Feel like I'm drowning.
Tired of frowning.
Scared of the outside.
But all I wanna do is hide.
Don't have a clue.
I just  don't know what to do.

The tallest mountain
Once lay dormant
Confined between
Tectonic plates
Tremors and upheavals
Jolted it from slumber
Broke away from the shackles
Of solitary confinement
And oppression
Grazed and razed with every move
Now reaches the summit
To kiss the soft clouds
In silent meditation for ages
Mighty and tall, towers above all
Revered by many

An Elephant In Gray, A Pear In Hay.
Met Each Other On This Day.

An Elephant Pulled Out A Knife, A Pear Without A Wife.
Met Together With A Strife.

An Elephant In Gray, No Pear In Hay.
Left Each Other On This Day.
But The Pear Would Return...
In The Month of May

Ex Parte.
Everything is going wrong
I'm not on it anymore
Nothing is working right
You won't understand my strife
We don't care about the same things
We won't understand each other's ways
Regardless if it causes pain

You're so naturally smart, talented at heart
I have to struggle and try
We're so different you and I
I try to tell you everything, I speak my mind
You hardly say a word about what's going on inside

I try so hard to quell my mind
You can't understand this strife
I hurt inside
Because your mind
Yours and mine
I wish it didn't have to be this way
I don't know how to make it change
We're just so different... It's hard to understand what's going on inside that lovely little mind of his

Describe It accurately

Once

And give It a twirl of hair and boho skirt

Describe It once

with love full of hatred or

strife

Until your arms & legs

Shiver, until your gemmed rings

SNAP!

to pieces

Until, when your glossy

fingernails melt, a monster's

heart burns with sympathy.

Call It on the phone, don't

apologize if you hadn't

used

the right

Words.
A stream-of-consciousness poem about expression.

A tale of adventure, A tale of strife.
A tale of wisdom, a tale of life.
In the streets of afghan, a quick learner
Enchanted by the kite runner.

A tale of loss, a tale of gain.
A tale of horror, a tale of pain.
With strife and hurt, all bestowed.
And, the mountains echoed.

As sorrow seeps,
Mariam weeps
A tale of hurt,
Out to blurt.
With arrows, bombs, axe and guns
Burnt with a thousand splendid suns.
A tribute to the Afghan writer! Hail Khaled Hosseini

Bright Day is on the run.
Soon Night will engulf the sun.
Time and Desire in the strife.
Life is chasing Desire.
Time is chasing Life.
