A star up and dies
The universe sheds a tear
Particles fly everywhere
The Milky Way collapses
Half of infinity is gone
The Sun tilts on her axis
The Moon knows something's wrong
Oceans begin swelling
Water devours the land
Earth hasn't been this bedraggled
since life first began
Gravity forsakes her
Grounds fall to the sky
A celestial teardrop's ruthless goodbye

I get so high around you
But I'm not on any drugs
So tell me do you feel the same
Do you float up into space too

Fly with me to Neptune
And to all the stars beyond
I'll hold your hand and you can hold mine

Take me to the end of your galaxy.

I am floating
in an ocean of
Silence.

Words -
solitary waves
occasionally passing by

Caressing
my skinny mind
ever so gently,

I almost forget
I still
Exist.

My Heart and a Space for Yours

There’s a space in my chest next to my heart
It’s the perfect size for yours to fit safe and sound
Thirteenth part....

A God all alone in empty total dark,
had thought to start up creations spark.
To build upon that black empty view,
all those things his thoughts made anew.

Where and with what should he begin,
with only darkness there to keep it in?
Mechanics drawn from rigid Physics laws,
so time would carry out evolutions chores.

Only God alone right there at the start,
hydrogen made as if from some godly ****.
Clouds that swirled and time then congealed,
until mass and gravity his plan then revealed.

Ignition of that first ball of gaseous light,
that brought an ending to the longest night.
Deep in that furnace new things were made,
a realm where matter and time both played.

Changing substance and the shape and form,
by the passing of time and by cosmic storm.
All elements to make every building block,
of galaxies, liquids, gases and every kind of rock.

So the plan moves on at his chosen godly pace,
filling all of time and all corners of outer-space.
Ever changing all things into something more,
God all alone knowing what its all been for.
Accident or creation?.... or both?

Imagine traveling for miles and miles

walking in and out of life happening

one goes west where another goes south

one chooses life and gets death.

another doesn’t choose and time goes on.

We think we are so clever.

“Eureka! I know what to do now!”

and yes its true we do.

but for one that’s been through this and that.

and never pauses to take stock of it all.

they would whistle.

but if you trapped the wind in a jar.

it would be quiet.

drop its jaw in awe.

life in depth is simply complex.

it’s sometimes best to sit and watch –

the magic unfold.
nothing really matters, bohemian rhapsody. so do the things that matter.

mama used to say
silence is also conversation.

however, this deafening ‘quiet’ is unnerving.
even the back and forth of the winds
between us seems to have died.

was it something i said?
or was it the things i didn’t?

whatever maybe, forgive me
cuz life’s short,
moments we’ve shared, are indeed rare
so please don’t let this eerie silence instead,
speak for the two of us.

sometimes the passing of a few days seem like eternity. these last four days have been just that.
