Sleep night terror
****** me whole
Knife cuts deep
Eyes cold cold

Pillow grip tight
Crazed fit scream
Doused in the fire
Burn dream dream

Broken fears me
Note to the mind
Wrapped up in the sheet
Nighty night night
Night terrors and can't sleep ..dark thoughts surround me

the voices whisper

they call out to me

They scream

They laugh at me

Should I listen?

Should I care?

The screaming won't stop

I can't tell the difference

between the screaming in my head

and my own

Stop it, stop!

I can't ignore them anymore

For the voices whisper

They call out to me

They scream

They laugh at me

I can't ignore them anymore

No, don't pity me

They are right

and this is my goodbye

Listen to the drops
Tiny voices in my dreams

Casting doubt in memories
of my subconscious mind

What do they say?
I hear the screams

Slipped in a straight jacket
of life's immorality

But I am not alone
My tiny voices keep me company
Every little tiny voice that we all hear.

I drop the hints
I yell for help
I scream your name
but you don't see.
I need you now
I need all of you
you can't hear me cry.
Why do you miss everything
why can't you hear me
why aren't you here
when I only need you the most?
oh, clever one
with the bass heart
for whom love
and pleasure part

drinking in my
silent screams
must you haunt
my bitter dreams?

i be yours
and i be hers
from one a kiss
from both a curse

we wait for you
one slave, one queen
fierce day, soft night
and in-between

an one is caught
but one will die
for sweetness speaks
naught but a lie

The ocean
Is the embodiment of sadness

The saltiness
Does not come from minerals
Or rocks
But from
Every tear
Ever shed

The conch shell's song
Is every scream of pain
Every released
Silent or not

The blue color
Is the color of sadness
Of everything the ocean has endured

And the grey
Is from all of the anger
The ocean has taken

So if you're ever feeling
Sad
Down
Or alone

Remember:
The ocean is there for you

To take your tears
In its vastness

Your screams
In its shells

And your pain
Sadness
And anger
In its colors

And if you can't take the pain
Any longer

The ocean will take your body
As well

So you are not alone
For the ocean is the embodiment of sadness

So many of us sit, think and still
wonder,
But have we ever gave ourselves the chance to ask?
Well no!
We just rejoice and find oursleves
floating on cloud nine because
"it is just another public holiday"

So many of us have cherished this day,
as a day of drinking, parting
and being in the family way.
Which "Us" am i refering to?
Well it is the youth of South Africa,
That can only sing "Freedom is coming tomorrow" very well
without knowing the significance
of that freedom
and what it took for this freedom
to come

well let me take you back to the
hands of time.
In June 16, 1976
the mongoloid youth of South Africa
marched down the streets of Soweto for this freedom we have today.

BLOOD SHADE,
SCREAMS,
EXPLOIDING SOUNDS
and the cries of faces without races
filled the streets of Soweto.

Parents feared for the lives of their children,
but who knew that adolescents
could be so brave?

They stood together in unity,
the same unity we lack today.
Fought for what was right and that came with their African roots,
which we nolonger honour today,

they fought against the usage af
Afrikaans as the main language of communication at schools.
And look where it left us today.
We have the Right to choice
and the Freedom of association.

And not forgeting that,
they left us with the courage to say "WE ARE PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICANS"
One of my longest poems ever!

Watch the blood flow as i turn,
Making it a picture of pain.
Cover the canvas with your screams,
We got blades for brushes and your skin as the page.
Girl bleed for me and I'll die for you.
