She wanted to remain pure,
unstained,
unpoked.
She had toyed with getting a tattoo
but realised it wasn’t
individual anymore.
But she was in need of validation.
Was she past her peak? She’s still cool right?

The needle stuck into her skin like the scent of an old lover. It left a fizzy sensation behind.
The ink spread.
She kept poking,
stabbing,
stick n poking.

What emerged was a star.

Startled,
strained by Tar,
scarred,
her sparkle faded.
My experience of doing a stick n poke tattoo of a star on myself. My thoughts on my first tattoo. I called my star tattoo Tar.

thorny screwpines stop,
musky fragrent flowers enchant;
blood scented ecstasy!
I remember her scent
like soft, sweet cotton candy
I was inhaling it like a drug
as I closed my eyes
feeling a sudden surge
through my body
for a moment I was uncomfortable
with this overwhelming desire
to taste her

And you're too tired to talk to me
I wish I had more to say to a faceless community but you're asleep next to me and I don't dare wake you. You work in the morning. It IS the morning. You've been busting *** while I sit happily on mine. How can I wake you to share these thoughts you need to hear? Sleep is my favourite comfort zone. I shan't take it away from you. Sleep blissfully my love.

He tasted dry,
When licked with sour spit.
His scent was foul.
Broad hands rejected
Curling feet.
Met by scowling eyes,
He criticised me with love.

No musk scented air,
Mango trees stand sans flowers;
Angry climate speaks!

Screwpine’s thorns hurt,
Flowers’ musky scent entice;
Bloodletting pleasure!

I've always hated roses
Maybe because they're
So flawless compared to my messed up life
Very beautiful compared to my scared skin
It's amazing scent compared to my rotten soul
But a part of me loves roses
Because it has thorns just like me
We both hurt unsuspecting people

Your scent lingers
on my pale skin,
and when I inhale
I do not feel the
suffocating weight
of solitude.
