Outside my window,
Great morning, I know,
I gaze at the flowers,
Today, rain no showers,
Summer sun's powers,
Lovely morning, I know,
Outside the window........
Feedback welcome.

I look out the window
at all the snow on the ground
the American flag looks cold
It's below zero right now

Snow is piled up in heaps
from shoveling out our driveway
the night sky is dark like always
and the street is not currently visible.

I tear my skin apart
Trying to fit in
Maybe what's inside really is all that matters
So I tear apart my outside
Trying to show the world my inside

let's go home then, both of us,
in a stride we found in asylums,
shaking, burning for above.
let the windows crack and doors snap shut,
never to be opened by hand again,
on the earth where passions sleep.
one day we will return there,
a world that we have never been,
our feet ache to ache after walking.

The common Indians, famous for visions,
But actually infamous for their laziness.
Me included.
We need to rise above such lucid dreaming,
Then we will observe our world improving.
Yes, surely.
And we won't feel the need to study elsewhere.

The Indians who move out are necessarily required,
To do petty cleaning or similar petty jobs,
Your ego is too big for that.
As much I have known you, you can't handle it,
And I believe that I have known you the best,
Your traits are all known to me.
And that is why I keep on advising you, often needlessly.

I know why you are upset and hopeless regarding me,
Because I have always tried to be your parent,
I tried to be your gaurdian angel.
But you have killed the love inside you by yourself,
I don't fear my own eternal loneliness as much,
As much I fear your eventual failure.
And your probable self-destructive nature at that time.

Open your eyes
look at the ceiling,
okay just see it.
Walk outside and watch the sky
how it exists for you.
Honestly life is just about existing.
Put your toes in the scratchy grass,
think of all the bugs that might be underneath you,
they are just existing.
Watch as the flowers dance in the wind
they are performing for you.
The world is on your side.
Society is not,
but the world is.
put down the magazine
put down the phone
put down the calorie tracker
put down the social media.
lets go outside so that we can breathe
so that we can just simply exist.
Lets breathe today

They are the sky.
I am the earth.

They are taxi rides.
I am a river rushing.

They are eyes glued to a screen
when their companions long for real conversations.
I am the wind in silence.

They are ****-coloured beer.
I am black coffee and stout.

They are cell phone towers.
I am the stars.

They are poodles on leashes.
I am the lone wolf.

They are elevator rides.
I am off the beaten path.

They have forgotten their roots.
I am plugging in.

The thousand, thousand faces
Of pours, of hair, of skin
With glancing gazes - gracious
And a wealth of words - within

Some smile through their veer
Some simply snub but mostly nice
Some in slumber, some in fear
Some too busy with a vice

I am exactly as we all are
The mumbling, melting snowflakes
As I sink and swim among the stars
To avoid all massive mistakes

Onward stranger, to better things
May our minor encounter snap no strings
