WE are all connected with an invisible vine
that flowers inside a smile,  hand, kind word.

We are all performers on stage of life,
tickling the souls conscious heart.
Filled with love's essence eternal.
meant to expand in heartbeat song.

We are all product of source sparkling
with Gods cord of light to dance.
Filled with ability to love unconditionally
with forgiveness and compassion.

We are all spirit in human form
making our way
through galaxies of dreams.
I awoke filled with inspiring words at five in the morning.
Oh lucky me to swim in ocean of jargon
Oh lucky me to learn from my own words. LOL

I shared a moment with you today;
for once,
I was just
                     Present.
Not plagued with the what ifs,
The constant dialogue,
Bewitched was I
by nature’s percussion,
Dancing a melody outside,
I wrapped us in a blanket,
You calmed -
We both were still,
Our souls connected in a song:
A simple lullaby,
In your eyes sang the Universe,
It echoed back in mine,
An orchestra of consciousness
that I’ll treasure
for a while.
A lovely moment with my baby boy inspired me to write this poem.

my love
my obsession
last thought at night
first at dawn, all day long

you are a jilt
hold me near, hold me tight
squeeze me harder, make it hurt
kiss me sweetly, kiss me softly
whisper in my ear

the sun is too bright
the fools too near
i need refuge
make it all disappear

fractured body
damaged mind
i am broken
lost in time

hope extinguished
accept the darkness
feel the nothingness
surrender to oneness

There is strength in our togetherness
There is peace in our oneness
Especially when we respect each person's uniqueness

There is power in our unity that
We can harness
To bring about individual and unified progress
And ultimately our overall success

But instead, we judge one another to condemnation
We operate on islands of isolation
We practice segregation
Lack of love is our biggest limitation!

I am spiraling with the surrounding Love.
Circling the Universe, and filling the atmosphere..
with infinite... Rays... of Reality.
Penetrating into me!
Like iridescence light beams,
of emanating, vibrating, union celebrating,
I see no separation between all that is.

We are all just, future kisses.

For I have already listened to your lips,
For I already tasted your language of love,
Written in these books from ancient times,
carved and painted into myself from the fingertips that glide upon my cells.

I am just reading my skin,
whilst rewriting the story as it all syncs in.

Our hearts beating. ReMeeting.
For you are within me, not a part,
It’s all revealed through the mystery of our art.
Joseph Miller Nov 2018
Death is a reclaiming of wholeness
when life becomes absorbed
in the oneness of the universe
which is everywhere
and nowhere

in that moment
when our loved one goes
the reclaiming
takes part of us
as we become connected
to the fullness of their emptiness

it is more than the mind can understand
only the soul knows
the connection is real

Symphonic fountain
Work your way
Carve out the hearing, sound a stream
And flow within
Trickling, never dropping or dripping
But moving steadily towards the heart
To meet the rising steam
As lillypads mourning
Are pulled by the stem into a watery sea
Let this gentle sound pull me beneath
The surface tense
Until all my former fear are broken
And I am but a rippling sound
Another trickle towards uniformity
Zora symphonic Symphony oneness in the water sound trickle

born into an ethic of separate
and apart, knows nothing of the promise of oneness
and the slow release of held breath when I glimpse
that I’m not.

my foremothers in the summer kitchen, preserving
(1 part berries : 1 part sugar, splash of lemon)
lived the kinship of shovel sun soil hands
jam on buttered bread.

heads bowed under kerchief, shushing children, devoted
(1 part fervour : 1 part obedience, splash of sorrow)
sang the hymns of their mothers on hard benches in one voice,
one breath.

but the air is made of argon too, and contains
the breath of all others, the ones not on hard benches, or making jam
no lines in the sand made of belief or blood
not them, just us.

today with my own shovel, sifting through roots and buds
(1 part rage : 1 part faith, splash of sorrow)
I sing “Ain’t got no, I got life” at full volume with Nina, two voices
same breath.
Here is the awesome Nina Simone song I mention:

This will be the winter of my contentment
I will shed regret and resentment
I will finally get it
I will not forget it
I will shred this narrow point of view
This prism of individuality
It’s a prison in reality
The world is a superorganism in totality
I see intersectionality and finally find sanity
My mind is now a GoPro
I can view my life in slow-mo
This is not the Truman Show
This is real, I can feel it
As this film reel flies by
I steal a glimpse with these two eyes
Before I meet my demise I will run with these two thighs
I will squat 5 plate, I will lose some weight
I will choose my fate
Lighter than a feather because I have come untethered
I float high among the weather, never weathered
Renewed by cleansing rains
You may call them hurricanes
But that is a matter of perspective
Positivity is infective
So I will spread a vibrant virus
From the Pope to Miley Cyrus
I say nope to the winter blues
This is the winter that I choose
To sway to and fro with the flow
To gratefully frolic in the snow
