I put all religious texts in library
in the over
   eighteen fiction section.

For who would let a child ponder
           on the dualities of moral
discomfort, and the lessons of
  what ponders beneath the page.

For the lessons are a contagion on
      young minds. These books
choose the morals of an age bygone.

These books have been a disease on
the morality of humanity. yet they are
fiction a duality of horror and beauty.

But lest we forget that the horrors within
should not be shackled on a mind young.

So that is why I put those religious books
           in the over eighteen section..
In every library I visit,

              am I wrong or right...

               You decide....

We are godless
and yet more moral
                       than those who
                               cherry pick.

                    And yet never
able to swallow the
                         pip.

Adjective
Contradictory, irregular

I call my self inconsistent
and despite the way that I fluctuate between
one thing has always been
the way that I can see
the world that spins madly around me
when all is said
and all is done
I will always be the one
that can see through the fog on the overcast day
or that can always guide the way
I may not be the best
I may not be the brightest
but when it comes to me
I'm the rightest
this is the second poem that I have written so any advice would be nice

the concept
of an afterlife
qualified
only for
the most
holy of holies
is what scares
me
the most.

what if
i've been
good
my whole life,
but one part
of my heart
makes my
entry
rejected?

so what if
i'm gay?

at least
i'm not
as immoral
and hypocritic
as
you.
"without losing a piece of me, how do i get to heaven? without changing a part of me, how do i get to heaven...?" - heaven, troye sivan

Demons don’t need horns
They don’t need to be given
The horns, the pitchfork,
Or the tail
Because not all demons are that bad

When I was younger
I used to believe
That demons just upped
And left heaven
Or were thrown out
Because they weren’t like
The angels
Then they got to hell
And realised
That heaven was just like hell
But with a better view.

So now
Hell is empty
And all the devils are here
(On Earth)
it's ****** but i'm adding it anyway

We should
    Never think
We're better
        Than another.

But should always
strive to be
better
       Than ourselves.

The moral compass
Matters not, should one choose to
Not look where it points.

Bruised and ******,
arms restrained
this criminal correctly blamed
for trying to release another.

Who not a friend
nor a brother
but thought it wrong
to just let suffer.
So together
in a cage
held conviction,
suppressed rage,

And whispered words
in hopes to capture
a nudging deep within the captor.
Unconvinced
but dismayed,
their guardian then proclaimed,
"when dogs are slaves,
you've no regrets,
yet misbehave
when men are
pets?"
A bit dark. It was inspired by the realization that many peoples explanation behind human value is completely subjective.
